Saves for the Steam and Epic Games Store versions of Borderlands 3 are located in roughly the same path:
- C:/Users/[Username]/Documents/My Games/Borderlands 3/Saved/SaveGames/
The only difference is the last folder, which is named after the unique ID number of your account in the corresponding digital store .
If you purchased Borderlands 3 through the Microsoft Store , the journey will be much longer:
- C:/Users/[Username]/AppData/Local/Packages/2K-Gearbox.Borderlands3WindowsPC_5c2m1mad6jpnr/SystemAppData/wgs
Here, you may also need to locate the hidden AppData folder. To do this, check the “Hidden items” box or press Win + R and type %AppData% in the window that opens.
