Crimson Desert Guide: How to Complete Mount Kingshield Ruins

To solve the puzzle in the Kingshield Mountain Ruins in the action RPG Crimson Desert, you must stack clay jars on top of one another on top of a stationary jar located in front of the inactive Abyssal Stone. There must be a total of four jars in the stack. The puzzle is essentially similar to the puzzle in the ancient ruins of Sonandan Bamboo Forest.

Mount Kingshield Ruins Puzzle Location

Scattered around the ruins in Kingshield Mountain in Crimson Desert are numerous clay jars. Most are destructible, with the exception of the small round ones. Small jars can be carried, but cannot be thrown or destroyed.

In front of the Abyssal Stone stands another jug, which cannot be interacted with at all: it cannot be picked up or destroyed. This is the main clue for solving the puzzle .

Among all the clay jugs, you can see four jugs stacked on top of each other – you need to repeat the same thing in front of the Abyss Stone, and then it will activate.

How to solve the puzzle in the Mount Kingshield Ruins

  1. Take any indestructible jug from the area.
  2. Place it on the stationary jug in front of the Abyss Stone.
  3. Sometimes a pitcher may break—that’s normal. It means you got the wrong pitcher, so choose another one.
  4. Continue adjusting the angle and placing the jugs until you have a stack of four. Use the CTRL key to precisely select the position.

Once all four jugs are stacked, wait a second—the game will automatically calculate the solution, and the puzzle will be complete. Now you can collect the Abyssal Artifact from the Abyssal Stone, which will also serve as a new teleportation point in this area.

Although the puzzle’s solution is simple, the lack of a clue can be confusing. The area also contains “living” jugs that attack the protagonist. One is easy to destroy, but there are so many of them that they can quickly surround you. These enemies often drop gems and ore. A great place for farming!

Enemies will respawn repeatedly, so you can return to them as needed. The jug mobs are disguised as regular jugs, so if you see a random jug in the field, be prepared for a fight.

The ruins in the Kingshield Mountains are located west of the Hexa Shrine, which explains the presence of magical jars in the area.
