How to find the total cost of inventory in ARC Raiders

If you want to know how much coins are worth all the items in your ARC Raiders vault , this guide is for you. We’ll explain a simple way to calculate the total value of your inventory, which is especially useful when preparing for the Expedition project.

How to check the cost of storage

Currently, the only legal in-game way to estimate the value of a storage location is to manually select all items in your inventory and view their total selling price. To do this, use the multi-select feature.

On consoles (PlayStation/Xbox)

  • Go to your inventory.
  • Select the “All” tab to see every item.
  • Hold L2 (PlayStation) or LT (Xbox).
  • Select items by pressing X (PlayStation) or A (Xbox).
  • Once all items are selected, press Triangle (PlayStation) or Y (Xbox).
  • Check the price next to the “Sell” tab. This is the total cost of your storage unit.

Before using this method, it’s recommended to merge the item stacks. This will reduce the number of items to manually select and speed up the process.

On PC

  • Go to your inventory.
  • Open the “All” tab on the left sidebar.
  • Hold down the CTRL key.
  • Select all objects by clicking on them with the left mouse button.
  • Right click to see the total cost of storage.

Your available coins also count toward your Expedition progress. To determine if you have enough funds for the project, add the cost of the storage to the number of coins in your account.

A date trick for quick checking

Some players have discovered that by changing the date on their PC to a day during the Expedition period, they can instantly see the coin value of their entire inventory. This method is faster than manually selecting items.

How to use the date trick:

  • Launch ARC Raiders.
  • Go to the Windows menu “Time & Language”.
  • Select Date and Time.
  • Disable the “Set time automatically” option.
  • Change the date to a day within the Expedition duration (for the current project, this is December 17th to 22nd).
  • Return to the game.
  • Go to the “Projects” menu.
  • You should see the total value of your vault next to your coin balance.

The developers at Embark Studios may fix this trick in the future, so it may no longer work.

Why is it important to know the cost of inventory?

After the first Expedition was delayed, Embark Studios announced that mining five million coins allows Raiders to unlock five permanent skill points. If your vault reaches five million coins (or reaches that amount account-wide), you’ll be able to unlock all permanent skill points. This is why many players are eager to check out their stash.

Each permanent skill point costs one million coins, and you can unlock up to five depending on your vault value and coin balance.

How Expedition Affects Storage Costs

If you decide to embark on an Expedition during the allotted time, your storage will be reset . You will lose all items, and your inventory value will return to zero. You will also lose your storage expansion upgrades, but upon successful completion of the Expedition, you will be rewarded with twelve permanent additional storage slots.
