Cobalt is often found in snowy regions of the map . You can find numerous individual veins of cobalt along mountain ranges in the tundra, and entire deposits of this ore, along with copper and iron, underground.

Cobalt mining in the mountains is generally safer than underground mining . There’s usually plenty of this material on the surface, so you don’t have to worry about caving or fighting subterranean creatures. However, the snow-capped mountains are also home to yetis, and fighting them can be quite dangerous.

If you do decide to venture into the underground mines, we strongly recommend setting up camp first . Simply set up a sleeping bag in a safe spot, along with perhaps a fire and a chest or two.
