Tingus Goose Review – A Positive Horror

Tingus Goose is a bizarre clicker where you raise a mutant goose and watch the bizarre transformations of the monsters it spawns. Whether the game has anything to offer beyond its outstanding art design is something we’ll explore in our review.

  • Developer: SweatyChair
  • Publisher: Playsaurus, UltraPlayers
  • Platforms: PC
  • Release date: December 2, 2025

Visually, Tingus Goose is a mixture of cringe and horror. The game wonderfully combines the style of a cute children’s coloring book with body horror, where a goose sprouting other geese and human babies crawling out of its mouth aren’t the most bizarre and terrifying things you’ll see.

The project’s visuals are simultaneously appealing and repulsive, evoking mixed feelings. Some scenes are depicted very realistically—don’t be fooled by the game’s benign appearance, and if you don’t enjoy horror games about body transformations, it’s best to pass.

The title’s arthouse design is strung together with generally standard clicker gameplay . The goose spawns babies, which crawl and fall, generating money. To earn more money, you need to build various structures along the creatures’ path, which provide additional resources. At the same time, you need to click on the creatures, which also generates currency. Resources are also spent on expanding the list of buildings and speeding up processes.

All of this is necessary for the main, central goose to grow as tall as possible. This is the player’s goal at each level. The larger the goose grows, the more resources must be invested in its further growth. In short, it’s a classic gameplay scheme where the outcome isn’t important—the process is. Although, to be fair, it’s still possible to reach the final stage.

However, Tingus Goose’s gameplay isn’t all smooth sailing. Any clicker game requires repetitive actions, and it’s crucial to maintain that delicate balance to avoid turning the game into a boring clicker. Unfortunately, the project’s developers failed to maintain that balance—eventually, the routine becomes tiresome, leaving you yearning not to unlock new opportunities but to finish the adventure and watch the final credits roll.

While the visuals can certainly keep players glued to their monitors , and the automated processes offer the opportunity to develop a specific strategy, at some point it becomes difficult to fight boredom. If you’re primarily looking for action in games, Tingus Goose is unlikely to grab your attention. But if you’re a fan of the clicker genre and don’t mind body horror, it’s probably worth a try.

Pros
  • Original visual design
  • The automation system is well implemented
Cons
  • The gameplay gets boring quickly
  • Very unpleasant scenes at times
