“Tiny Bunny” is a psychological horror novella with a branching narrative, created by the Russian independent team Saikono. The story centers on sixth-grader Anton, who moves with his family to a remote village lost in a cold, dense, and ominous forest. Gradually, the already harsh reality begins to intertwine with eerie fairytale characters and events. Children begin to disappear without a trace, and by some incredible coincidence, children wearing animal masks begin jumping around Anton’s house at night.
At the beginning of the game, we learn that Anton, his sister Olya, and their parents have recently moved to the village from the city. While the holidays are underway, the boy is trying to get himself ready for school . His parents continue to argue, and, as Anton himself puts it, things are starting to smell of “the nasty ‘R’ word…”
It all begins in the kitchen of Anton’s house. The family whiles away the time talking and doing their usual activities.
Follow these steps:
- Remove the book lying on the table .
- Back in the room, open the curtains on the window on the right to let in the light.
The Secret of True Detective 1
Eventually, after the police arrive, reporting a missing boy named Vova and asking if Anton has seen him, you’ll be free to act . You can quickly finish this part of the game, but doing so will miss several secrets.
So, to achieve the “True Detective 1” achievement, you will have to carefully examine every interactive item available in the first episode.
After Tikhonov’s visit, Anton begins his own investigation. Anton decides that Vova’s disappearance is a matter he must personally investigate. In the hallway, you can explore the first few interactive objects:
- the top is lying on the steps on the left side,
- the old telephone is on the shelf to the right of the entrance,
- there is an Orthodox cross hanging above the entrance door (the sign says “Into the yard”),
- a storage room door under the stairs that needs to be opened.
After exploring the hallway, head back to the kitchen, where Anton and Olya’s mother is still present. To collect the crucial clue , you’ll need to find a way to distract her, but before you do, be sure to take a closer look!
The Secret Message
There’s a radio on the windowsill. If you turn it on three times, you’ll hear a mysterious counting rhyme. It’s important to do this while Mom is still in the kitchen. Earn the “Secret Message” achievement.
- Solution: listen to the radio three times in the presence of your mother in the kitchen.
After this, to achieve the “True Detective 1” achievement, study the following items:
- a calendar on the wall to the left of the window,
- a newspaper with a crossword puzzle on the table,
- Freezer – open the refrigerator door, and then the freezer door.
A note with a police officer’s number—”Useful Connections” (important for the best ending)
On the side of the refrigerator is that very note with the number of the police officer, Senior Lieutenant Tikhonov. But you can’t just take it, since Anton’s mother is in the way. Simply click on it to trick him and lure him out of the kitchen. But you need to do this before you listen to the radio three times and hear the rhyme fragment! After Mom leaves, take the note with the phone number from the refrigerator. It’s not evidence, but without the number, you won’t be able to contact Tikhonov to provide evidence and unlock the best endings of “Bunny . “
- Solution: trick your mom and take the note with the police officer’s number from the refrigerator.
The first clue: take the mitten or run away?
Return to the hallway, then click on the front door and the sign that says “Enter the Yard.” Anton will emerge onto the street, where his big investigation will begin. Anton follows the path to the edge of the forest, where he spots a mitten on a tree—apparently the one that belonged to the missing Vova.
The player then has two options, each yielding two different achievements. You can save and choose both options one at a time, but there’s a better solution:
- “Where are you, Vova?” he asks, needing to pick up the mitten. Anton takes the mitten from a branch, then runs home, away from a pack of angry dogs . On the way home, the mitten bleeds, but once inside, it stops. It’s as if it were a vision.
- “Run for your life”—you need to escape and leave the mitten behind. Anton runs away, and you miss a crucial clue.
- Solution: Take the mitten and get the first clue.
Interactive objects in Anton’s room
In any scenario, Anton rushes home, pursued by a pack of dogs. After talking with his mother and experiencing a disturbing vision, Anton returns to his room. First, you need to take a good look around, so don’t rush to open the desk drawer :
- On the top shelf above the table there is a toy triceratops,
- there is a stack of magazines on the nightstand on the left side,
- On the wall above the table hang drawings of a talented boy,
- There’s someone hiding behind the curtains – just click on them, but Anton won’t notice anyone yet.
Once you’ve examined the four objects needed for the achievement, open the desk drawer to place the collected investigation items—a note with a police officer’s phone number and a mitten (evidence #1/4). Immediately after, Olya will jump out from behind the curtains, determined to scare her brother.
Important – Olya’s room
Next, you’ll head to Olya’s room, where you’ll need to examine a few more interactive objects:
- piggy bank on the top shelf on the right side of the room,
- teddy bear on the bed,
- window.
Set up a TV or look for video tapes?
After examining the TV, you need to turn it on. You’ll see some problems, and another important choice will appear, with two different achievements:
- “The Devil’s Tape” – Select “Configure” to record a report with the Master of the Forest. This videotape will become evidence #2/4.
- Neverland – Select “Search” to look in the cabinet and find a video tape, and then spend the evening with your sister watching Disney cartoons .
- Solution: tune the TV to receive a tape with a report about the Master of the Forest and evidence #2/4.
Close the curtains in Olya’s room. Anton will return to his room and, if the report was recorded, will place the videotape in the drawer with the two previous items/evidence.
The box now contains three items related to the investigation:
- Senior Lieutenant Tikhonov’s number,
- The mitten of the missing Vova,
- a videotape with a strange report about the Master of the Forest.
The episode will end.
