Sealed Abyssal Artifacts in the center of Demeniss

The Demeniss region is one of the largest in the Crimson Desert . Scattered here are numerous sealed Abyssal artifacts, which you’ll discover as you travel through the vast fields, endless farms , and agricultural lands.

Artifact 1: Harmony of Hooves I

Location: North of Reventina Monastery, near the border with Hernand, right next to the bridge over the river between the two regions. Inside a wooden totem pole. Upper left of the letter D in DEMENISS on the map.
Challenge: Tame 2 wild horses .

Artifact 2: Sword of Trials V

Location: Road south of the Reventina Monastery, on the altar at the crossroads. To the left of the letter D in DEMENISS on the map.
Challenge: Defeat 3 enemies in a row using only the Sword Thrust.

Artifact 3: Sharpened Spear IV

Location: Near the Knights of the Flame castle , north of the letter D in DEMENISS on the map. Or directly to the left of the castle on the map, at a crossroads.
Challenge: Defeat 3 enemies with a jumping attack with a spear in 1 minute.

Artifact 4: Shield of Unyielding Will V

Location: South of the letter D in DEMENISS on the map, near the Screaming Treasury Ancient Ruins. The intersection is north of the Abyssal Stone, which you activate if you complete the Screaming Treasury Ancient Ruins.
Challenge: Knock down 5 enemies with a shield.

Artifact 5: Harmony of Hooves II

Location: Border between Demenisse and Hernand, northeast of St. Galsius’s Sanctuary. Crossroads across the river north of St. Galsius’s Sanctuary.
Challenge: Hunt 5 animals while mounted in 5 minutes.

Artifact 6: Shot

Location: Road from the ruins of the Screaming Treasury to Castle Scorchrock.
Challenge: Destroy the Elite using only firearms.

Artifact 7: Small Predator

Location: The road from the ruins of the Screaming Treasury to Castle Demeniss. Along the way, there’s also the captured Southern Court. From the court, head east along the northbound road. The altar is at a crossroads formed by three roads.

Challenge: Catch and lift 5 animals from the weasel family.

Artifact 8: Mysterious Accessories Shop

Location: South of Demeniss Castle, near the Demeniss Menagerie. You’re looking for the intersection below the image of the huge castle on the map (which is located south of the regional capital).
Challenge: Visit all the witches’ workshops .

Artifact 9: Hail of Shells II

Location: Shadow’s Slope is a hilly area southeast of Demeniss Castle. Below it is the river and the port of Demeniss, with a corresponding sign. Look for the road north of the “Shadow’s Slope” sign on the map. Above and slightly to the right of the sign on the map is an altar by the road.
Challenge: Defeat 3 enemies using Charged Shot. Suppress 3 enemies with a Fire-enhanced Charged Shot. Defeat 3 enemies with an Ice-enhanced Charged Shot. Suppress 3 enemies with a Thunderstorm-enhanced Charged Shot. Defeat 3 enemies with a Wind-enhanced Charged Shot.

Artifact 10: Special Weapon: Grape Shield

Location: Near the crossing at the Ironbeerrel Armory. The Armory itself is located south of the last letter of the word “DEMENISS” on the map. The wooden totem with the Abyssal Artifact is located north of the bridge over the river, next to the house on the map (the Armory).
Challenge: Neutralize 30 enemies using the Grape Shield.

Artifact 11: Dancing Blade, Shining Shield II

Location: Look south of the letter A in Golden Plains on the map. On the road between the fields. There’s a turnoff to the tents nearby (a dead end), but the altar is located near the main road.
Challenge: Stab your opponent 10 times with a rapier without taking damage.

Artifact 12: Harmony of Hooves VI

Location: A burial mound along the road between West Demeniss Church and Cowbell Ranch. Right at the intersection between these two sites. The location itself is located north of the letter “M” in “DEMENISS” on the map.
Challenge: Ride a horse from the Silvermoon Trading House to Vellois in 10 minutes.

Artifact 13: Harmony of Hooves V

Location: Near Springdale Farm, west of it, there’s an altar along the road. Or across the river to the east of Honeywood Apiary. Head due north, up the map from the second E in DEMENISS.
Challenge: Ride a horse three times while descending from the air.

Artifact 14: Mighty Slash II

Location: Near the Golden Gallop Racecourse. The first intersection northeast of the oval racetrack. Or southwest of the building itself, which is labeled “Golden Gallop Racecourse” when you hover over it.
Challenge: Defeat 3 enemies with a finishing attack from a two-handed sword without taking damage.

Artifact 15: Protective Blade

Location: Northeast of the Golden Plains near the Heyruf Farm. Right next to the farm building on the map (slightly above it). The altar is by the road. It’s up and slightly to the right of the Golden Plains name on the map.
Challenge: Perform Instant Counterattack 7 times without taking damage.

Artifact 16: Life Underwater

Location: Between Breezeblown Knoll (map) / Gearspire and First Musket Outpost. Directly at the crossroads north of the Gearspire icon on the map.
Challenge: Acquire all 15 Freshwater Fish Knowledge Points. Acquire all 15 Saltwater Fish Knowledge Points. Acquire all 5 Legendary Fish Knowledge Points. Acquire all 11 Marine Life Knowledge Points.

Artifact 17: Deuce of a Kind Winning Streak

Location: Eastern part of Breezeblown Knoll (Breezeblown Knoll on the map), altar along the road by the river. Head toward the river to the right of the letter N in Breezeblown on the map.
Challenge: Win three games in a row in “Deuce”.

Artifact 18: Dancing Blade, Shining Shield V

Location: South of Breezeblown Knoll/Cycle Spire. If unlocked, teleport to the Void Nexus near the Cycle Spire on the map and jump from there onto the road to the south. Right there you’ll find a stone containing a sealed Void Artifact.
Challenge: Hit 9 enemies with the Shield Throw attack within 15 seconds.

Artifact 19: Special Weapon: Storm Shield

Location: The road between the abandoned watchtower and the Demeniss Garrison. Two small landmarks on the map. The altar is at the crossroads closer to the Demeniss Garrison. Head south from the Breezeblown Knoll sign on the map (south of the N in the first word).
Challenge: Defeat 30 enemies using Storm Shield.

Sealed Abyssal Artifacts in Southern Demeniss

The southern part of Demeniss holds even more secrets, including several sealed Abyssal artifacts. The location of each is shown in the screenshot below.

Artifact 1: Walking on Clouds

Location: On the road under the stone arch at the southern gate of Bloodsteel. The optional boss , Brady Goo, appears here . He can be finally defeated in the enemy fortress of Bloodsteel, north of the southern gate. Follow the road east from the word STEEL on the map (Steel Mountains).
Challenge: Using Palmara Leap, rise to a height of 10 meters.

Artifact 2: Return of Graymane

Location: The eastern edge of the enemy’s Bloodsteel Keep, overlooking Thornbriar Keep further to the east. Moving from Bloodsteel, jump down a little further onto the ledge facing Thornbriar Keep. You’re looking for the ledge next to the wooden tower with the archer on it .
Challenge: Wolf Hill Camp – Accept the quest for the second expansion. Your main camp in the game is south of Hernand.

Artifact 3: The Black Pilgrim Who Stole the Light

Location: A stone archway with a raised gate at the entrance to Thornbriar Castle’s outer wall. To the right of the wall, climb up to a small stone ledge where the altar is located.
Challenge: Steal a candle from the Church of West Demeniss. Steal a candle from the Church of East Demeniss. Steal a candle from the Cathedral of Demeniss.

Artifact 4: Pine Broom

Location: The road to Thornbriar Outpost, northwest of Thornbriar Keep itself. The outpost itself is to the right of the “Willow River” sign on the map. Follow the road south from the outpost. The altar with the artifact is located along the lonely road before it forks.
Challenge: Defeat the bear using only a broom.

Artifact 5: Dancing Blade, Shining Shield III

Location: Further beyond Thornbriar’s outpost, south of which the previous artifact was found. Look across the river. On the map, to the right of the road you need, there’s a cove of sunken ships , labeled “Shipwreck Shore.” The altar by the road is located exactly to the left of the first letter of the word “Shipwreck” on the map.
Challenge: Land 5 rapier hits on a downed opponent.

Artifact 6: Harmony of Hooves III

Location: Near Ironwood Farm. On the map, north of Shipwreck Shore, there’s a farm labeled “The Ironwood.” In the center, toward the west, is the largest house in the field. To the east, or to the right on the map, look for a triple intersection. A stone altar is located under a tree.
Challenge: Kill 20 enemies in 5 minutes while on horseback.

Artifact 7: Sword of Trials VI

Location: Among the rocks and mounds in Serpent Marsh ( Serpent Marsh Island on the map). Near the Abyss Core near Chijeon Temple.
Challenge: Defeat 5 enemies within 15 seconds using Forward Shoulder Strike.

Sealed Abyssal Artifacts in Northern Demeniss

The terrain of northern Demeniss differs markedly from the usual plains. However, several Sealed Abyssal Artifacts can still be found in this region. Their locations are shown in the screenshot below.

Artifact 1: Will Harder Than Stone

Location: The road east of the Kingshield Mountains sign on the map, in the Kingshield Mountains. The altar is located at the curved part of the road, to the right of the letter H in Kingshield on the map.
Challenge: Defeat 10 Stone Crabs.

Artifact 2: Crystals in Veins

Location: Northeast of the Kingshield Mountains. A lonely road leading up from the previous Abyssal Artifact. Directly to the right of the letters AI in the word “Mountains” on the map.
Challenge: Gain all knowledge about minerals.

Artifact 3: Bow Aimed at Destiny V

Location: The altar is located at a crossroads of several roads just up the map from the Kingshield Northern Mountain Shrine (you’ll visit this location at the beginning of Chapter 7; it will be destroyed both then and later). Alternatively, follow the road south from Beigen and look for the artifact at the first major crossroads.
Challenge: Neutralize 5 enemies simultaneously with a bow from a distance of more than 20 meters.

Artifact 4: When Lightning Strikes IV

Location: Road to the settlement of Tariv. From the settlement itself, follow the road south. The altar is near the road below the village , among the trees. To the left and slightly above the “Denn River” sign on the map.
Challenge: While riding a horse, hit 7 horsemen with a gun.
