Sealed Abyssal Artifacts in Southern Pailun

More sealed Abyssal artifacts can be found in the snowy region of Pailun. Their locations are marked on the map below.

Artifact 1: Shadow’s End

Location: The altar is located right next to the path along the river on the border of Pailun and Kalfad.
Challenge: Kill 5 enemies at night.

Artifact 2: Judgment of the Sleepers

Location: East of Camp Bjornlund, north of the previous artifact. By default, the camp is captured by Black Bears. The altar is located at the intersection of two paths near the camp.
Challenge: Attack a sleeping enemy 5 times.

Artifact 3: Clearing Dark Alleys

Location: West of the Bjornlund camp, north of the first artifact in Pailun described in the guide. By default, the camp is captured by Black Bears. The altar is located along a road that also runs alongside the river. Simply follow this road west, past the shelter at the Vatnhall Fortress supply point , marked with a “house” on the map. Soon, along the road that turns right, you’ll see an altar with the Abyssal artifact.
Challenge: Hand over three criminals to the guards.

Artifact 4: Earthquake II

Location: Follow the path south from Skoghorn or north from Vatnhall Fortress, which is captured by Black Bears by default. It’s north of the previous Abyssal Artifact. The altar is right next to the road, and it’s open here (between the two objects).
Challenge: Defeat 10 enemies with a two-handed club or axe without taking damage.

Artifact 5: Harmony of Hooves VIII

Location: Inside a wooden totem at the Ridgehunter Tannery, northwest of the “Wayward Woods” sign on the map. The totem is located right in the area of the facility, which is by default occupied by enemies. It’s in the southern part (if you open the map, it’s below the house depicted).
Challenge: While riding a horse, ram and neutralize 30 enemies in front of you within 5 minutes.

Artifact 6: Bow Aimed at Destiny VI

Location: Head west along the road that branches north from the outpost at the ridge on the river in Pailune. Or northeast across the river from the labyrinth in the Ancient Rift. The outpost itself is southeast of the letter A in Pailune on the map.
Challenge: Hit 5 enemies with the Aimed Shot attack.

Artifact 7: Bow Aimed at Destiny III

Location: The road between Beigen and the Beigen Candle Factory. Coming from the candle factory, which is located northwest of Beigen, follow the road south, then turn left and head east, not crossing the bridge. The altar is located right along the road.
Challenge: Hit 3 enemies with a bow in mid-air.

Artifact 8: Mystical Ecosystem

Location: Along the road next to the Pailun Lock, which is located on the river south of Pailun itself. Simply follow the river and look for the altar near the road at the turnoff to the lock (dam).
Challenge: Capture 3 Choppies.

Sealed Abyssal Artifacts in Northern Pailun

Several more sealed Abyssal artifacts can be found in the northern part of Pailun. You’ll definitely visit these locations as you progress beyond the city limits to Silver Wolf Mountain . They are all marked in the screenshot below:

Artifact 1: Traveler with Oak Barrels

Location: Pailun City’s central square. There’s a Void Core in the center of Pailun. Teleport to it and jump down to the intersection of three roads in the center. The altar is located right next to the Void Core inside Pailun.
Challenge: Meet all tavern owners in all regions. There are 8 in total.

Artifact 2: Grotesque/Special Weapon: Vessel of Sinister Pursuit

Location: The trail north of Pailun. Simply head north out of town. Once you pass the suburb of Totemfelt, at a fork in the road to the north, you’ll find an altar containing a sealed Abyssal Artifact.
Challenge: Defeat 100 enemies using the Vessel of Sinister Pursuit.

Artifact 3: Between Herbs and Poisons

Location: Road north of Skalkouw, across the river, above the E in PAILUNE on the map.
Challenge: Obtain all knowledge about mushrooms (3), medicinal herbs (22) and poisonous herbs (6).

Artifact 4: Special Weapon: Bismuth Spear

Location: Altar at Swinholt Ranch. It’s at the intersection northeast of the Silver Wolf Mountain sign on the map.
Challenge: Defeat 30 enemies with the Bismuth Spear.

Artifact 5: Small Meadow Dwellers

Location: Road to the Beast Hunters’ Camp, west of Swinholt Farm , where the previous artifact is located. Above the word “Wolf” on the map.
Test: collect all knowledge about insects and arthropods (76).

Artifact 6: Beastly Assault

Location: Near the Odek Lock in northwest Pailun. Across the river, above the word “Silver” on the map.
Challenge: Stay on the bear for more than 10 seconds.
