Mouse: PI For Hire Guide – How to Find an Interesting Blueprint

A detailed guide to completing the side quest “Blueprints, Please,” given by Tammy Stopka before the start of the main mission “Cheese Sandwich.” We’ll explain how to start the quest and find the perfect blueprint.

Mouse: PI For Hire is a fantastic game that, in addition to the main, fairly lengthy storyline, offers a wealth of additional activities. From hundreds of collectibles to 14 additional missions, the choice is endless!

You can also check out our main guide , which includes general information on side quests, a list of them, and links to each individual article with a detailed walkthrough.

Honestly, most of the side quests aren’t that difficult to complete, but there are some nuances. For example, you can skip literally every single one of these quests , thus losing the chance to earn the “Fearless and Remorseless Bloodhound” achievement.

It’s important to make separate manual saves each time you visit the detective’s office , before starting story missions, so you can return and complete a missed side quest if necessary. However, the achievement is unlocked near the end of the game, meaning you must complete the remaining story and side missions immediately afterward.

How to start the “Blueprints, Please” quest

“Blueprints, Please” can be completed during the main quest “Cheese Sandwich.” This means that once the main quest “Cheese Sandwich” becomes available, you should make sure you’ve accepted the side mission and completed it before returning to the detective’s office.

Talk to Tammy Stopka, who’s in the basement of her workshop behind the ammunition store (previously located on the main street). She’ll ask you to find an interesting blueprint in the Old Subway, where you’ll be heading as part of the main quest.

Once the information about this task appears on the screen, you can begin the main quest. Go to the car and then head to the Old Subway.

How to complete the “Drawings, Please” quest

After starting the “Cheese Sandwich” story quest, play through it on normal mode, defeat the boss (a huge crocodile with a Gatling gun), and navigate another section using his new ability (Jack can spin his tail to propel himself through the air over long distances) until you reach the end of the area. Eventually, you’ll reach the vent pictured below . Crawl through it.

This will lead you to a locked door with a ladder to the right. The ladder leads outside, ending the mission.

You have to get through this locked door. It’s easy to hack , and we’ve shown you how to do it in the picture below, just in case.

Behind this door is a tall room with a switch located almost at the very beginning. Use this switch to turn on the fan at the far end of the room.

Using your new air gliding ability, which you received after the boss fight on this same level, fly up.

You need to land on the platform with four burning barrels. Then, turn around and look back—you’ll notice a small hut directly below the platform you’re standing on.

Jump down to it and enter the hut to find an interesting blueprint for Tammy Stacks. After picking it up, exit the hut and continue with the main quest. Then return to the detective’s office.

Reward

When you return, talk to Tammy Stopka to give her the interesting blueprint. She’s still in her workshop. As a reward, she’ll give you two blueprints used to upgrade weapons. To do this, use the workbench to Tammy’s left. This is a great reward, and you should consider upgrading the submachine gun if you haven’t already, as it’s easily the best weapon in Mouse: PI For Hire.
