Another day as Mouseburg’s top private detective, another black-and-white friend who needs help with the “Imported Goods” side quest. Once Mouse: PI For Hire sends you to search Slaughter Bay, you’ll have the opportunity to listen to a request from Cornelius Stilton, an old friend and colleague of Jack Pepper’s. This is another quest that can be skipped, denying you the opportunity to earn the “Fearless Bloodhound” achievement.

Completing the “Imported Goods” side quest itself isn’t all that difficult—you just need to be sure to take the opportunity to start the quest and turn off the main path at the right moment to find goods for Stilton.
How to start the “Imported Goods” quest
“Imported Goods” can be activated immediately after unlocking the main quest “Salty Kambozo,” which, in the first half of the game (even closer to the middle), will send you exploring Slaughter Bay. However, as with all side missions in Mouse: PI For Hire, before heading out, it’s worth talking to the residents of Mouseburg and Jack Pepper’s friends to see if anyone needs the help of a professional sniffer. What a surprise: Stilton has an optional quest for you!
Talk to the mayor of Mouseburg before embarking on the main mission. He’ll tell you that customs officials detained some cargo that was important to him. It happened right at Slaughter Bay. A typical situation. You need to find the famous herbal cheese sticks, which seem to be a euphemism for Cuban cigars or something similar.
Once you’ve verified that information about this side quest (as well as another parallel quest for the same location, “Eat Your Thing” from John Brown) has appeared on the screen, head to Slaughter Bay.
How to complete the “Imported Goods” quest
Once you reach Slaughter Bay, progress through the main quest as usual until a certain point. First, you’ll find some canned herring, which is connected to the side quest “Have Your Fish and Eat It.” After that, continue playing, and if “Imported Goods” is on your quest list, once you reach the large arena with the water tower in the center, a huge prompt will appear on the screen: “Find Stilton’s ‘Goods’.” The change in objective for this side quest clearly indicates that you’re in the right place to complete it.
At the far end of the arena, opposite where you entered, look for a pair of steps leading up to a porch with crates. Break them down, revealing a door with a padlock . This is the customs office , and you need to get inside. If you need help hacking , the solution is shown in the screenshot below.
In the back of the office , on the desk, are some Herbal Stilton Cheese Sticks. Take them. Continue through the “Salty Kambozo” mission as usual, and you’ll soon be ready to complete the sidequest.
Reward
Returning to the Mouseburg hub, the detective’s office, head back to John Brown’s Little & Big and find Cornelius Stilton in his usual spot. He’s standing near the jukebox. Talk to him to give him the Herbal Cheese Sticks. For your efforts, Stilton will hand Jack a hefty sum—400 coins.
