The next side quest in the charismatic black-and-white animated world of Mouse: PI For Hire is “Oh yeah… they fly.” Yes, that seems to be a reference to Pennywise the dancing clown from the film It, as the story chapter takes place on the grounds of a circus.
You can also check out our main guide , which includes general information on side quests, a list of them, and links to each individual article with a detailed walkthrough.
However, as with most side missions in Mouse: PI For Hire (and especially since there is no chapter select in the game), you’ll want to make sure you don’t miss the start and completion of this quest, otherwise you won’t be able to get the “Fearless Bloodhound” achievement.
How to start the quest “Oh yeah… they fly”
You can take this side quest before completing the main mission “Everything Points This Way, Right?” Before heading off to the next main chapter, be sure to talk to the ever-friendly Millie Cheesecake, who’s standing on the bench in front of the Little & Big bar. It’s not the best place for a child, but she’s going through some tough times. Talk to her, and she’ll ask you to get a balloon from the circus. Now it’s time to meet the clowns!
How to complete the quest “Oh yeah… they fly”
Finding the point to complete the main objective of this quest isn’t easy. As you progress through the story mission “Everything Points Here, Right?”, you’ll eventually find yourself in the arena shown in the screenshot below. Destroy all the enemies.
After this, to complete the main quest, you will have to play two mini-games within the additional show to earn two more tickets to the secret show and continue deeper into the circus area.
But don’t rush! In the corner of this arena , to the left of the dynamite throwing game, you’ll see another, smaller kiosk. Head over to it. The circus worker who runs the ticket rides will also appear here. Find the interaction point to spend $25 on a box of balloons. That’s just what Millie Cheesecake needs!
All that remains is to complete the main task and return to the detective’s office in the center of Mouseburg.
Reward
Returning to town, find Millie Cheesecake again. She’s standing in the same place as before. Talk to her to give her the balloons. As payment, Millie will give Jack a baseball card of Jeremy Cheesecake, who, presumably, is a distant relative of hers.
