Quarantine Zone: The Last Check Guide – How to Complete the “Skeletons in the Closet” Quest

Some orders in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check can be quite tricky, as getting accurate information about citizens during a zombie apocalypse is difficult. You might only be given half a name, only a street name, or an extremely vague description.

Moreover, you need to keep all this information in mind while scanning each survivor, consulting the symptoms table, and keeping track of your daily tasks. If you’re having trouble completing the “Skeletons in the Closet” quest, you’ll find all the information you need below.

How to complete the “Skeletons in the Closet” quest

Every day, a new order appears on the notice board at the quarantine zone checkpoint. This is a task from the Major. The first one will arrive on the seventh day, and then there will be one daily. They are issued randomly, so you may not receive this task on the same day as other players.

For each such task you complete you receive $1200, and since many of them are quite simple, this is an easy way to earn money to upgrade the buildings at your base.

However, one of the tasks is confusing many players because it contains a hint that, instead of helping, actually misleads everyone. The text of the instruction reads as follows:

  • From: Major
  • Skeletons in the Closet
  • Someone locked their infected family in the basement of a house on Ashridge Street. But they eventually broke out, and the person burned the house to the ground. Few documents survived, but we know the suspect’s name begins with “An…” and he’s approximately 30 years old. If you encounter anyone matching that description, quarantine them.
  • Duration: 1 day.
  • Target: Target has been quarantined.
  • Reward: $1200.

The first thing to pay attention to is the survivor’s age. It won’t be an elderly person with gray hair, but still, check the age of everyone who enters. The person you’re looking for is around 30 years old.

The most confusing part of the quest is the hint about a name beginning with “AN.” Ignore this clue completely, as the survivor’s first name is always Kevin, while the last name changes in each playthrough. Players have observed variations such as Kevin Wright, Kevin Buyes, and Kevin Williams. But the first name is always Kevin.

The only real clue is where you live. The symptom sheet lists all the key information next to your photo. Look for a street named Ash Ridge St.

Once you’ve identified the right person, perform a routine check on them to gain Research Points ( RP ) and send them to the quarantine chamber . Once the task is marking as complete, you can do with Kevin as you see fit. We recommend leaving him in the chamber until the next day.
