Resident Evil Requiem Guide: Where is the Locker Key in the STARS Office (Barry’s Treasure Hunt)

Barry Burton’s “Treasure Hunt” is one of the challenging optional puzzles you’ll encounter while exploring the Raccoon City Police Station, and specifically the STARS office, in Resident Evil Requiem.

Once in the STARS office , you’ll find a document called “Barry’s To-Do List,” which pertains to a locked case in the same room, as well as two photographs titled ” Treasure Hunt 1″ and “Treasure Hunt 2.” Incidentally, all three files are required for the “Case Closed” achievement.

The photographs point to a specific location inside the police station. To successfully complete the treasure hunt , you must first collect the photo clues. Without them, you won’t be able to interact with the location where the key to the locker in the STARS office is hidden. However, with them, finding the correct location will grant you the key to the locker and access to its contents.

Locations of Barry’s Treasure Hunt 1/2 photos and Barry at the police station

Both photos are located in the STARS office, in the west wing, on the second floor of the police station, just down the hall from the library.

The first photo is in the locker on the right side when entering the room.

The second one is a little better hidden: you have to interact with a jacket (previously belonging to Chris Redfield) hanging on the wall between the office desks in the main room.

How to complete Barry Burton’s treasure hunt

With both photographs in hand, return to the command center, located in the same west wing, but on the first floor of the building. Climb onto the wooden pallets next to the whiteboard on the right as you enter the room. You’ll only be able to interact with these pallets once you’ve found both photographs. Once you’re on the pallets, another interaction point will appear—with the television on the shelf.

What’s hidden in the locked locker at the police station?

Return to the STARS office and use the key to open the cabinet on the west wall. Inside is the “STARS Emblem” decoration. This talisman can be attached to automatic weapons such as submachine guns to increase their firepower but decrease their controllability (i.e., accuracy).

The same locker also contains other items that are references to the Resident Evil series and other Capcom games.
