Having trouble finding Tian Wen’s stash in the “Industrial Espionage” story mission in Arc Raiders? No problem! This stash is much more difficult to find than the one in the “Marked for Death” mission. And if you’re tired of searching for it yourself, let us do all the hard work for you.
The “Industrial Espionage” mission takes you on another foray into the Buried City. Tian Wen asks you to find a mysterious weapons cache buried in the sand near a gas station. Your main goal is to place a Burletta pistol inside! It seems simple, but the weapons cache is well camouflaged, and its paint job doesn’t make it particularly noticeable. If you’re having trouble finding it, this guide will explain in detail where to go and what to look for.
The “Industrial Espionage” quest seems simple, as it only has two objectives. You also don’t need to bring anything to Speranza, meaning you can get by with free equipment (well, practically free…).
To complete this, simply follow these steps:
- Find Tian Wen’s weapons cache near the gas station on the outskirts.
- Deliver the Burletta to a competitor’s weapons cache.
After accepting Tian Wen’s quest and receiving the Burletta, you can set out into the sandy expanses of the Buried City.
Find Tian Wen’s weapons cache at the gas station on the outskirts
The gas station, or simply the gas station, can be found at the top of the Buried City map, right next to the Su Durante warehouses. This area is on the outskirts of the city, so enemies should be relatively few, but it’s still worth staying alert for marauding Raiders or ARC vehicles. Even one ARC drone can spawn more, so stick to the bushes and conserve your stamina for moving through open spaces to remain less visible to enemies.
The gas station is partially covered in sand, like most areas of the Buried City. However, there are a few landmarks to navigate by—for example, the large round containers at the rear of the station. If you see them first, head east/southeast and you’ll find raised platforms near a weapons cache.
Deliver the Burletta to a competitor’s weapons cache
Right between two high platforms, look for a bench and a partially covered car. Between these two landmarks is an inconspicuous crate. This is Tian Wen’s weapons cache. Approach the cache and interact with it to deposit the Burletta and complete the mission.
If you don’t have the Burletta in your inventory at this point, you won’t be able to interact with the stash or complete the quest. Tian Wen gives you the Burletta as soon as you accept her quest, so you won’t have to worry about crafting it. If you accidentally recycle, sell, or die with the Burletta in your hands, you’ll lose the weapon and will have to craft a new one or buy it from Tian Wen.
This would be quite unfortunate, so try to conserve your weapon and use other weapons during your foray to increase your chances of survival while you reach Tian Wen’s stash. Once the cargo is delivered, the objective is complete, and you can return to Speranza, hopefully unharmed.
“Industrial Espionage” is a straightforward task, unless you have any trouble finding the weapons cache or accidentally losing the Burletta. But despite its simplicity, you’ll still be generously rewarded. Completing the “Industrial Espionage” quest will reward you with three mechanical components and three basic weapon parts. These are already excellent rewards, but the best thing you’ll get is the Burletta blueprint.
