To celebrate the sale of 12 million copies of ARC Raiders, developers Embark are giving away a free cosmetic item for the Raider tool—the Gilded Pickaxe. Active players will receive this gift automatically. In this guide, we’ll explain how to claim and equip this exclusive item.
How to get a Gilded Pickaxe
The developers are sending the “Gilded Pickaxe” cosmetic skin to all players who have logged into ARC Raiders at least once since launch. The item will appear in your in-game mailbox on January 13 at 11:00 AM Central European Time (CET).
New players wishing to obtain the pickaxe must launch the game and log in at least once before 23:59 CET on January 13th .
To claim your gift, launch the game and wait until you reach the main menu. In the upper right corner of the screen, next to your username, you’ll see a white envelope icon with a gold dot underneath .
Click the mail icon to open your in-game mailbox. There you’ll find a letter from Embark congratulating you on your new high score. Click the “Claim” button in the letter to add the golden pickaxe to your cosmetic collection.
How to equip the Gilded Pickaxe
With the Cold Snap update, you can now customize the appearance of your raider tool. To equip the golden pickaxe, go to the “Raider” tab and select “Customization . “
In the “Style” tab, click the Raider tool icon on the left to see all available skins. Select the “Gilded Pickaxe” from the list. Your character will now use this golden tool, which shows that you were among the first millions of ARC Raiders players.
