Arknights: Endfield Guide – The Best Build for Alyosha

While playing Arknights: Endfield, you’ll quickly notice that characters are categorized by rarity: six, five, and four stars. While reaching maximum potential with all four-star characters is relatively easy, the main problem with six-star characters is their availability (it’s not always possible to obtain the operator you need).

For this reason, in the early stages of the game, you’ll likely have to settle for a team of five-star heroes like Alesh. While they’re more difficult to level up than four-star operators, it’s still worth it. For this reason, Alesh is one of the best alternatives and an operator who fits into a variety of teams, but only with the right build and the right gear and weapons.

The best weapons and essences for Alyosha

Alesh uses a sword, which is easily noticeable from his character and animation. There’s currently no six-star weapon in the game that’s superior to his signature five-star sword, so the “Water Floater 3.0” is the optimal choice.

Water Floaters 3.0 Weapon

  • 5 stars
  • Strength
  • Cryo damage
  • Suppression

Increases Alyosha’s attack power and increases the Cryo damage taken by enemies when they use Freeze. Particularly effective in Cryo-based teams.

The Rock weapon

  • 5 stars
  • Intelligence
  • Increased rate of super energy accumulation
  • Muse: Return to the Ruined City

Suitable for physical teams or any other, thanks to the increase in the recharge speed of the super skill.

Sea Wall weapon

  • 4 stars
  • Intelligence
  • Attack
  • Passion: An Endless Cycle

Take this if none of the above options are available. After activating the combo skill, it provides a decent attack boost.

Essences are selected based on the types of enhancements provided by the chosen weapon.

The best gear sets for Alyosha

After reaching the Ulin region, “golden” five-star sets become available for almost every character, making them ideal for endgame . For Alyosha, the optimal set is the “Colonist,” but other sets are also available early in the game.

Colonist Equipment Set

Reduces the cooldown of the combo skill and increases the team’s damage when SP is restored, making this set the best choice for Alyosha. The fourth piece can be the gloves from the “Eternal Xyranite” gear.

Disaster Equipment Set

Heavy armor, two gadgets. Suitable for mid-game, it provides a nice bonus to super energy generation speed (in short, to the super skill’s cooldown) and allows you to restore SP the first time you use a combat skill.

MSGR Equipment Set

Any item. Used early in the game to slightly increase strength.

With the Colonist gear set, you can also equip the Eternal Xyranite Gloves to increase the effectiveness of your Ultimate’s Super Energy regeneration.

The best operatives for Alesha’s team

  • Main team : Alesh, Yvonne, Gilberta, Saihi.
  • Alternative team : Alesh, Endadministrator, Lifen, Estella.

Alesh is a fairly versatile character; he doesn’t have a strictly defined team. Although he’s considered a support, his skillset doesn’t mesh well with Cryo and Physical Operators. However, in some situations, he can be a worthy replacement.

For example, in a team with Yvonne, Gilberta, and Saikhi, Alesh maximizes the potential of the “Water Floaters 3.0” sword. The increased Cryo damage on enemies allows Yvonne to deal more damage, and Alesh’s Freeze helps restore Super Energy for his Ultimate. Saikhi, on the other hand, inflicts Cryo Blight on enemies, which Alesh uses to increase Super Energy for his Ultimate.

In a physical team, Alyosha can be used alongside the Administrator as the primary damage dealer. Lifen and Estella are ideal support: the former applies physical susceptibility to enemies, while the latter applies a knockup to the Administrator.

Alyosha’s Abilities Overview and Upgrade Priorities

  • Basic attack (combo with final strike) “Basics of Casting .” Alesh fights with a series of five rapid blade swings. The damage formula is unusual and well-thought-out: first, two significant strikes with coefficients of 39% and 62% follow, then the chain repeats, and the combo concludes with a final, truly devastating strike with 124% damage. Thanks to this gradation, the character confidently maintains stable physical DPS even without relying on magical abilities.
  • Airborne Assault . While falling, Alesh can slam down on enemies from above, dealing a hefty 180% damage to nearby targets and effectively punishing enemies for careless positioning.
  • Finishing Move . A classic, yet extremely effective finishing move on stunned targets: a single precise strike deals 900% physical damage and instantly replenishes skill points, allowing you to immediately return to the active phase of combat.
  • The combat skill “Unusual Decoy .” Alesh summons a massive ice block above the enemy and slams it down with force. The strike appears to be a cryo attack, but in reality, it deals 450% physical damage—an important nuance to consider when choosing effects and synergies. If the enemy is already under the effects of cryo, the skill additionally inflicts the “Freeze” condition, completely immobilizing the target. However, the true value of this ability is revealed when dealing with vulnerability stacks: consuming them restores 15 to 45 SP, turning Alesh into a reliable source of energy for the entire team.
  • The “Fake Catch” combo skill is a passive skill that triggers automatically, without any direct player input. The skill is triggered when any operator lands a damage-absorbing attack (such as a Fire/Electric Combo) or destroys Originium Crystals. A sudden ice hole opens beneath the enemy’s feet, unleashing a torrent of energy. It deals 300% physical damage and immediately restores 15 SP. There ‘s a chance for a special effect to activate: if a rare Aquafalcon drops, damage increases to 480% and energy restoration increases to 25 SP. A little excitement right in the middle of combat. The ability has a 9-second cooldown.
  • The Super Skill “Monster Caught!” summons the Great Fin, a gigantic ice entity that rushes forward, crushing all enemies in its path. The attack deals a colossal 980% Cryogenic damage. The Ultimate inflicts the Cryo status on targets hit and restores 25 SP. If the attack is fatal, Alesh gains an additional 15 bonus SP, allowing him to quickly return to key skills and maintain a high tempo in battle.

When upgrading Alyosha’s skills, it’s recommended to upgrade his super skill first, then his combo skill. His combat skill can be upgraded only slightly, and his basic attack can be left largely unchanged.
