Resident Evil Requiem Guide: How to Find All Decorations

The last few Resident Evil survival horror games introduced special jewelry (accessories, amulets, talismans), which became a new (albeit less prominent) hallmark of the series. And now they’re back in Resident Evil Requiem. These optional collectibles have different effects and are activated through different mechanics depending on which character you’re playing as. However, whether you’re playing as Grace Ashcroft or Leon S. Kennedy, these accessories influence your playstyle. Below, we’ll break down where to find every piece of jewelry available in Resident Evil Requiem.

Both main characters have access to jewelry, but they function differently. Likewise, the talismans you can equip will be different: items intended for Grace can only be found and equipped by her, and vice versa.

In Grace’s case, the jewelry’s effect only applies when the item itself is in her inventory—no other conditions are required. Theoretically, you can receive bonuses from all the jewelry you find at once, but be prepared to sacrifice a free inventory slot for each one.

For Leon, the system works differently: he must equip attachments to specific firearms for their bonus to be active. Each attachment can only be equipped to one weapon at a time, and each gun has only one slot for such an item. This is done through the inventory menu or the “Upgrade” section when interacting with any supply crate. Initially, this option only appears in the second half of the game, but replaying Resident Evil Requiem unlocks more supply crates, including those found in Renwood and Rhodes Hill.

If one character finds a decoration intended for another, it can still be picked up. In this case, the item is magically sent to the other character’s storage/supply box. In practice, this only occurs with the “Ambush” accessory, if Leon kills the chef instead of Grace.

Once you find a piece of jewelry, it’s permanently added to your character’s inventory for all subsequent playthroughs on the current profile. Grace’s jewelry can be retrieved again from the Item Box, and Leon’s accessories are accessible through commands in the inventory tabs or the “Upgrade” menu in the Supply Box.

All Grace’s jewelry

Keen eye

This skull-shaped accessory increases Grace’s chance of survival : if she takes fatal damage, there’s a chance she’ll survive with 1 health.

To obtain this item, you must kill the Chunky Chunk wandering around the east wing of Rhodes Hill. The big guy first appears when you find a Level 1 ID Wristband on the second floor of the east wing, after which he begins patrolling exclusively that part of the building. There are two ways to defeat him: either shoot him with a weapon (which requires several rounds for the Requiem and a finishing blow with a regular pistol), or shoot him three times in the back with Hemolytic Injectors. After the monster’s death on your first playthrough, you can loot the “Eye of the Keen” accessory from his corpse. Killing the Chunky …

A strong newcomer

This decoration gives Grace a noticeable bonus to damage dealt with firearms.

The accessory can be found in the Special Materials menu from the very beginning of Resident Evil Requiem, but to acquire it you will have to shell out 6,500 Challenge Points (CP) – you will earn them during your first playthrough, but it is better to spend CP on something more useful that will help you complete the game on Insanity difficulty .

Ambush

When equipped, this decoration increases the damage of Grace’s knives and also increases their base durability.

To find this item, you need to kill the zombie chef in the west wing of Rhodes Hill—this can be done by any character. Upon death, he will drop the key to the kitchen pantry. Inside is this decoration, 100 units of Infected Blood, and a few additional resources.

All of Leon’s jewelry

BSAA emblem

When installed on a rifle, this accessory will increase its firepower, but only if the weapon is not equipped with optical sights. This accessory is particularly well-suited for the Sniper 1A rifle.

To obtain this decoration, you’ll need to fulfill several conditions. First, you’ll need to obtain the BSAA Container Key —Leon will receive it automatically during the game’s storyline when he finds a dead BSAA squad near the Cedar Creek Apartments in Raccoon City.

Next, you need to find a canister and fill it with fuel at the nearest gas station. After that, you can reach the construction site with building materials north of the BSAA Central Camp, where there’s a staircase leading down to the Ridgewood Metro Station . To do this, go to the large pit on the side of the gas station and find a panel on the right that will allow you to lower a beam to create a makeshift bridge to the other side, to the Central Camp.

Take your time and look for the generator near the control panel. Fill it with fuel from the canister, go through the gate, and climb the ladder. Climb down another ladder to the area with the truck . To the right of it, there’s an open hatch leading underground to a subway station. Proceed through this station. There’s a Mr. Raccoon figurine in one of the cars. Eventually, you’ll return to the very beginning, to the street Leon reached after Rhodes Hill. There’s a BSAA 04 container here. Open it and take the decoration.

Connoisseur

This accessory can be installed on any weapon to increase its firepower.

The decoration is located in the Rhodes Hill Medical Center’s pantry (the one behind the locked door in the kitchen), inside a warped cabinet that only Leon can open. To open the cabinet itself, you need Leon’s axe. However, you must first kill the zombie chef and obtain the pantry key—this requirement is the same as for Grace’s “Ambush” decoration.

Note: On Insanity difficulty, the Kitchen Pantry Key is located in a storage locker in the Hematology Lab.

Teddy bear

Equipping this attachment to a shotgun will cause the weapon to deal more damage at medium range, but less at close range.

After leaving the police station building as Leon through the breach in the back wall, escaping the Super Tyrant, first turn left along the road, go around the truck, and find the entrance to the underground parking lot. There are several useful items there. The “Little Bear” decoration is quite well hidden. Look for it behind the truck along the right wall, away from the entrance. Behind the old SWAT van. This is a recognizable van: it was the one Ada Wong blew up along with the Super Tyrant in the Resident Evil 2 remake .

Enhanced optics

Equipping this decoration on the Requiem revolver increases its damage, but only when firing the last bullet in the cylinder. Additionally, the bullets gain “unlimited” penetration—damage will be dealt to all targets behind the first.

The “Enhanced Optics” accessory is awarded for solving the missing library book puzzle in the Raccoon City Police Station. This is an optional quest that begins after reading the “Barry’s To-Do List” document in the STARS office (there’s a library on the right, but head straight to find the office).

Review your to-do list, then go to the desk in the private office that used to belong to Albert Wesker and open the top drawer. Pressing the interaction button in front of the empty drawer again will reveal the hidden file “Library Card.” It’s important to interact twice!

With both documents in hand, head to the RPD library (where the plot jack is) and go up to the second floor. On one of the shelves behind the bridge is a book you can now interact with. Inside, you’ll find a file called “Photograph” (depicting Rebecca Chambers). If you flip the photo over, it will read “Rising Rookie Rebecca.”

Afterwards, you can return to the STARS office. There’s a locked suitcase in the open cabinet in the far left corner. Enter the code “RRR” (short for “Rising Rookie Rebecca”) to open the case and receive the “Enhanced Optics” decoration.

STARS emblem

When equipped on any submachine gun, this decoration increases its firepower but reduces the weapon’s stability (making aiming and shooting accurately more difficult). This decoration is a reward for completing a 28-year treasure hunt once led by Barry Burton at the police station.

Once at the station, head to the STARS office on the second floor and pick up two documents: “Treasure Hunt Clue 1” and “Treasure Hunt Clue 2.” The first photo is hidden in Chris Redfield’s jacket, which hangs on the wall between the desks opposite the office entrance. The second photo is hidden in a cabinet near the door. The photos in these documents contain clues. It’s important not only to know what to do next but also to find the photos themselves.

Afterwards, return to the command center on the first floor. Climb the stack of pallets to the side to reach the shelf with the TV . If you’ve read both hint files, you’ll be able to interact with the shelf. Leon will discover the key to Barry’s locker.

It can be used to open a locker in the West Office of the Police Station. Inside are two Raccoon City Zoo tickets (now expired) and the “STARS Emblem” accessory.

Faithful companion

Equipping this attachment to your pistol increases its penetration. Each bullet will pass through the first target fired and damage enemies behind it.

The accessory itself can be purchased in the “Special Materials” menu after completing the 300-kill challenge. During your first playthrough of Resident Evil Requiem, this achievement typically unlocks around halfway through the game, even if you don’t focus on completing the challenge.
