Yet, throughout these years, the developers continue to delight players with new content in the form of massive expansions. This is why you’ll return to Victoria 3 repeatedly in anticipation of the next installment, and to avoid losing your progress on the brink of world domination, it’s best to know the location of your save files and create a backup.
Currently, Victoria 3 is only officially available for purchase on Steam , so the path to your saves folder on Windows will always be:
Local saves:

Cloud saves:

The same applies to the Linux version of Victoria 3 :
