In the animated shooter Mouse: PI For Hire, Jack Pepper, Mouseburg’s top detective, takes on any assignment. In the second half of the game, the ruthless detective and “demon slayer” must go undercover on a river cruise. Before his cover is exposed, he has the opportunity to complete two additional missions. One of them is “Mouseburg, Top Secret.”

According to the plot, Stilton needs someone to attend a dinner party, and our detective, Jack Pepper, is perfect for the job . This side quest can be taken not in town, but on the steamship itself, which can be confusing at first. Take your time and carefully examine the vessel to ensure you don’t miss any details.
Once you’ve settled in, it’s time to figure out what the Big Mice Party is up to . All these shady characters are gathered on a huge steamship… and clearly nothing good will come of it, right?
How to start the quest “Mouseburg, top secret”
Once the mission begins, proceed through the engine room to the main deck of the Fever Line cruise ship. Go left past the guard and up the steps. Then turn around and head back along the upper deck until you reach a passageway with three rodents.
From here, head north into the corridor and turn right into cabin VI. Here you’ll find a small room with a ventilation duct. Crawl through it into the large guest room, climb the main staircase, and save using the typewriter. You’ll also find the character who will give you the quest “Between Alpha and Omega” here. Now, go down the stairs to meet an undercover agent. Talk to him to begin this side quest.
You must complete this task before showing the pass you found to the bouncer at the entrance! If you’re too far along in the storyline, you won’t be able to do this.
How to complete the quest “Mouseburg, Top Secret”
Once you accept the job offer, head south and up the stairs leading to the great hall.
Once you enter the hall, look to the left. There are three mice standing in the corner , next to a large magnifying glass. Approach them and take a photo. You will receive the “PBM High Command” quest item.
Once you’ve collected the evidence, return to the undercover agent and give him the photo to complete the optional objective.
Reward
For completing this side quest, you’ll receive… 2 coins. Of course, you won’t be able to profit from this quest. Fortunately, the side quest doesn’t take much time and is also needed for the “Fearless and Remorseless Bloodhound” achievement. After completing the quest, be sure to complete the “Between Alpha and Omega” side quest, given by the mouse in the PBM.
