The Acer Nitro V 15 comes in a clear cardboard box with the Nitro gaming series name printed in the company’s signature font. The laptop is secured with pressed cardboard spacers and individually wrapped. A separate compartment houses the 135W power supply
The laptop’s case is made of black plastic. The brand logo and multicolored lines on the lid emphasize the model’s gaming appeal. To open the lid, you’ll need to hold the bottom half of the case with your other hand.
The base of the device features massive rubber feet, preventing the laptop from sliding around on the desk . The ventilation slots clearly reveal the copper heatsink tubes covering the hot components and a pair of fans. The speakers are located on the chamfered edges of the bottom of the case, positioned so that sound bounces off the desk surface.
Connectivity is distributed along the sides of the device. On the left side are a DC-in power connector, an RJ-45 network port, an HDMI 2.1 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port. A pair of built-in speakers handles audio. While it’s not a gimmick, like any other laptop without a focus on specialized audio features, the audio system is still sufficient for listening to music in the background or watching a movie , not to mention making calls with gaming partners and co-workers. Incidentally, unique AI features are used for calls: Acer PurifiedView improves video conferencing quality, automatically crops and blurs backgrounds, while Acer PurifiedVoice suppresses background noise and improves voice quality.

The cooling system installed in this model isn’t quiet, but it’s effective. Temperatures during games don’t exceed 85 degrees Celsius, which is very good for a laptop. The noise level is tolerable; after all, all gaming laptops make some noise.
The laptop has a standard set of wireless interfaces: Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. A gigabit Ethernet port is also included for wired internet. Connections to wireless devices are stable, with no interruptions or data loss.
The model runs Windows 11 Home. Gaming laptops typically don’t boast long battery life. The Acer Nitro V 15 doesn’t offer any surprises here, but it delivers 4-5 hours of battery life when browsing, messaging, and watching videos. With demanding games, this time drops to 2-3 hours.
Charging is done using the included power adapter and a proprietary DC-in port; USB-C charging is not supported. A full charge takes approximately one and a half to two hours.
