Unlike comic books , newspapers, or baseball cards, the menu doesn’t show how many figurines you’ve collected or which ones you’ve found. The only way to track your progress is to look at the shelf in Detective Jack’s office , located between the evidence board and the bedroom in his apartment. Miss one, and you’ll only find out at the end.
Most figurines are hidden from the main route; typically, obtaining them requires solving puzzles , unlocking locked doors, or using unusual mechanics that you haven’t fully mastered or gotten used to by the time you get the figurine. However, there are some collectible figurines that are easier to find than others, but you still need to know where to look.
In this guide, we’ve detailed the locations of all the secret Mini-Jack statues in chronological mission order, so you can collect them in a single playthrough without having to backtrack through save files. This is incredibly inconvenient, as after collecting a missed statue and returning to a previous save, you’ll have to replay all subsequent missions, performing the same actions and collecting all previously found collectibles.
How can I track my progress in finding Jack Pepper figures?
There’s no counter for this type of collectible in the pause menu. You’ll need to return to the detective’s office yourself and examine the shelf between the evidence board and the bedroom. Every figurine you find is physically displayed there. If the space is empty, you’ve missed something.
Tip : Before starting a new mission, take a look at the shelf – it’s the fastest way to make sure you haven’t missed anything in the previous levels.
Mini-Jack Collectible Secret Figure #1 – Detective’s Office Location (Anytime)
When you first visit the streets where Detective Jack Pepper’s office is located, or at any other point, stop by John Brown’s Bar and head to the kitchen. At the end of the kitchen, you’ll find a locked door with a lock . Open it, go down to the basement, and head to the very end of the room, where you’ll find your first (chronologically speaking) Jack figurine. Don’t get too comfortable; this is the easiest figurine to find. It’s a bit of a tutorial , as the developers understand that many of you will try to search the entire location the first time you visit the detective’s office.
Mini-Jack Secret Collectible Figure #2 – Story Mission 6: Cheese Sandwich (Old Subway Location)
The most challenging figurine in terms of the mechanics required to obtain it. Continue through the level until you fight the boss , then move on, traversing several sections of the sewers where you need to use your tail as a propeller to navigate air currents.
Near the end of the level, find a typewriter located between a ladder and a locked door. Don’t climb the ladder (or the door will close). Pick the door, activate the fans using the central control panel, fly up to the ceiling on the propeller, and find a barrel near the wall marked “Totally Normal Wall.” Throw an explosive barrel or dynamite to destroy the wall. You’ll discover a secret room containing a Mini-Jack collectible and coins.
Mini-Jack Secret Collectible Figure #3 – Story Mission 9: Salty Kambozo (Slaughter Bay Location)
After the mission starts, search the area around the beach, near the gas station where you spawned. Find a large fish hanging from a crossbar on the pier. Turn around, jump down, and deploy the propeller to reverse course mid-air, heading toward the cliff. This will reveal a secret alcove containing a Jack Pepper collectible figurine and a safe containing the blueprint.
Mini-Jack Collectible Secret Figure #4 – Story Mission 10: White Lies and Dark Secrets (Syrville Location)
There’s a locked church in the courtyard in front of the mansion. Look for it to the right of the gate, behind which stands the butler, who refuses to let you in. Here, you’ll be asked to find three wedding rings belonging to the butler’s ex-wives. If you look at the church, you’ll find a clue: “For whom the bell tolls.”
To open the church, you must ring three bells. All three bells are located in this courtyard; you don’t need to go anywhere! Here are their locations:
- Look at the church itself and at its peak, the bell tower, you’ll find the first of them. Take aim and pull the trigger.
- Look at the tree in the middle of the yard, the second bell is hanging on it.
- Finally, a little further than the tree, if you approach it from the church, there’s a house on the left. Near it stands a birdhouse. A third bell hangs under the porch canopy.
Once you’ve fired all three bells, the church door will open. Go to the very end and look into the back room to find the Jack Pepper collectible figurine.
Mini-Jack Collectible Secret Figure #5 – Story Mission 11: Wet Clue (Far Wetlands Location)
Once you reach the mission’s location, you’ll find yourself in a mansion. You need to find the room with the foyer key and the typewriter. Once you’ve found it, take your time and don’t pick up the key. Notice the lockers on the right. Jump on them to reach the ventilation vent. Make your way through to find money, ammo, and a Jack Pepper collectible figurine.
Please note! If you take the key early, you will not be able to access this collectible figure.
Mini-Jack Secret Collectible Figure #6 – Story Mission 13: “Everything Points This Way, Right?” (Manja & Manja’s Secret Show Location)
After talking with Elephant, you need to backtrack a bit, following the path you took here. But don’t rush to leave this location completely. Find a place where you can climb up to find a locked door. This lock requires a key. Find it near the janitor , but don’t go down.
Open that door and go into the secret room to reach the dressing room. Examine the table to find a Jack Pepper collectible figurine on it.
Mini-Jack Secret Collectible Figure #7 – Story Mission 18: “Unknown?” (Syrville Asylum Location)
This time, there are no puzzles to solve, no keys to open doors, and no locks to pick. At the beginning of the Hell section, after you’ve destroyed the cacodemon-like creatures (a nod to DOOM) in the bar, walk up to the bar and look behind it. The secret Jack Pepper collectible figurine is lying between piles of coins.
Mini-Jack Secret Collectible Figure #8 – Story Mission 22: “The House of the Empty Mouse” (Bandel Mansion Location)
Here you’ll have to solve the most challenging puzzle of all to get to the Jack Pepper collectible figurine. First, you must find three Monkey statues.
Look at the bed inside the bedroom to find the first statue. For the second, go into the prison cells and smash the barrel you’ll find in one of the rooms. Reach the last one by climbing the main staircase to the upper floor and reaching the very end of the corridor.
Take all three statues to the library and arrange them according to the principle “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” (left to right). This will open a passage to the laboratory, where you’ll find the Jack Pepper collectible figurine.
Mini-Jack Secret Collectible Figure #9 – Story Mission 20: “Gurgles from the Deep” (Bubbling Cove location)
No, I didn’t make a typo. It’s just that there are moments in the game when you have access to several missions in a row. In my case, this was chronologically the 20th mission, but you could have taken a different path and completed another chain of story quests first. Anyway…
After activating the first switch, head to the seashore , to the docks pier. Descend onto the ledge. After a dialogue, a teleportation pipe, money, and a Jack Pepper collectible figurine will appear.
Mini-Jack Secret Collectible Figure #10 – Story Mission 23: “Fair!” (Der Harzerburg location)
You can find the final collectible figurine after reaching the point of no return. Defeat the enemies near the animal models , then go left and up the stairs. Near the small bench with the collectible newspaper, look for a bush with a skeleton. You can walk straight through this bush. This will lead you to a secret alcove containing ammo, money, and the secret Jack Pepper collectible figurine.
What will you get if you collect all 10 figures?
All the figurines will end up on the shelf in the detective’s office. This is a visual reward—the game doesn’t show progress in the menu. A fully filled shelf is your grand prize. For some reason, there are no achievements associated with these actions in Mouse: PI For Hire.
