Redwood Logs are a resource in Hytale that you’ll eventually need to upgrade your farming workbench. But what exactly is considered redwood? Luckily, there are two types of trees in the world of Orbis that yield this resource, and they’re not too difficult to find.
Here’s how to quickly find the materials you need.
Where to find redwood in Hytale
Redwood logs can be found in dense forested areas of Hytale . Specifically, look for biomes with brown terrain and forests on the map. If you see large, dense trees there, like in the map screenshot below, you’re likely to find enormous, towering Redwood Trees.

Redwood logs can be found in dense forest biomes.

Redwood logs are harvested from large, tall trees.
To accurately determine the type of tree, you can use the EyeSpy mod, which helps you quickly identify trees and block types in general, so you don’t waste time on unnecessary resources.
When you find a redwood tree, be sure to chop down its base. Afterward, the tree will fall, and you can collect all the fallen logs. A single redwood tree will quickly yield full stacks of logs.
An alternative type of redwood is maple logs. They are found in orange forest biomes on the map. These areas consist of dark maple trees with yellow leaves, which, when chopped down, yield maple logs. They also count as redwood, just like regular redwood logs.

Redwood can also be harvested from maple forests.

Maple trees produce maple logs, which are considered redwood in Hytale.
The downside of maple biomes is that they also contain very similar oak and birch trees. If you need a lot of redwood, look for dense redwood forests if possible, but maple logs will definitely help out in a pinch!
Good luck gathering the necessary redwood in Hytale.
