Arknights: Endfield Guide - the best build for Estella

Over time, after spending several permits on standard and special “Recruitment” banners in Arknights: Endfield, you’ll unlock numerous four-star characters that can be leveled up alongside more powerful Operators. Among these heroes, you’ll definitely get Estella—a useful Operator with a polearm and a cryo specialization, equally adept at inflicting cryo effects on enemies and finishing off frozen foes with her own attacks.

With the right weapons and gear, Estella becomes practically indispensable in both elemental and physical teams, especially early in Arknights: Endfield. She’s essential for a Cryo team, but also synergizes well with virtually any operator in Arknights: Endfield.

The first few spins on the banners in the “Hire” menu will net you four-star characters, including Estella—a sleepy but incredibly powerful cryo-witch with a polearm, capable of confidently handling physical combat.

A strong emphasis on Willpower as her primary stat and a significant focus on physical damage, thanks to Strength being her secondary attribute, ensure ease of skill management for maximum combat effectiveness. Despite being a cryo-based character, her physical strength is astounding, and using Freeze to decimate enemies becomes second nature when using Estella as a primary controllable operative.

Estella is a great addition to any Cryo-based elemental team, as it’s incredibly easy to cast this element on enemies. Her attacks, weapons, and equipment also feature musical themes, enhancing her unique combat style.

Eternal Xiranite Equipment Set

When you use Shield, Buff, Susceptibility, or Vulnerability, other allies gain +16% damage for 15 seconds.

Equipment set “Yinglong-50”

When using any Combat Skill on a team, the owner gains a stack of “Yinglong’s Edge”, increasing the damage of the next Combo Skill by 20%.

Master Swordsman Equipment Set

Increases stun effectiveness by 20%.

The best operatives for Estella’s team

  • Main team : Alesh, Fluorite, Saihi, Estella.
  • Alternative team : Alesh, Administrator, Chen Qianyu, Estella.

Estella performs best in teams that combine Cryo and physical attacks, allowing her abilities to be used to maximum effect.

For a team focused on freezing and stunning, Estella and Alesh are recommended, as they combine to create powerful freezing effects. Fluorite helps boost Cryo, and Saihi adds elemental buffs and rifts for the entire team.

As a free-to-play alternative, you can use End-Administrator for his strong physical attacks and Chen Qianyu for increased physical damage. Alesh remains in the lineup to buff both Estella and End-Administrator.

Overall, unless the focus is on elemental effects, Estella excels in physical units.

Estella’s Abilities Overview and Upgrade Priority

Combining cryo effects and physical skills, Estella is suitable for both elemental and physical teams.

  • Basic Attack (Combo) “Sound Static.” Estella engages in close combat with a series of four rapid strikes with her polearm. Each subsequent strike amplifies the previous one, dealing increasing physical damage at rates of 56%, 68%, 78%, and 90%. This basic combo provides consistent and reliable damage in constant skirmishes.
  • Aerial Attack . When attacking while falling, such as when jumping from a high place, Estella slams down on enemies, dealing 180% physical damage in an area around her landing point.
  • Finishing Move . If the enemy’s Stagger gauge is completely filled, Estella performs a devastating finishing move. The attack deals 900% physical damage and instantly replenishes Skill Points, allowing her to continue her attack sequence without interruption.
  • Combat skill “Onomatopoeia .” A sharp thrust with the spear creates a cryogenic sound wave that spreads in a straight line. The move deals 350% physical damage to all targets hit and applies the “Cryogenic Damage” effect, perfectly setting up enemies for further combos.
  • Combo skill “Distortion .” A passive skill that activates automatically “out of the blue.” It’s activated when an enemy is affected by the “Freeze” status effect from Cryo. Estella instantly dashes to the frozen target, dealing 360% physical damage in an area and knocking them into the air. If the target is still affected by “Freeze,” the damage increases sharply to 630% physical damage, and the enemy receives a debuff increasing physical damage taken by 15%. A true combo chain destroyer.
  • Super Skill “Tremolo .” Estella slams her spear down on her target, dealing a monstrous 1100% physical damage to all enemies within range. If enemies already have increased physical susceptibility (from her combo or other sources), her super skill also launches them into the air, increasing crowd control and area-of-effect damage.

It’s recommended to prioritize your super skill first, then your combo skill or basic attack. Combat skill is a lower priority unless you’re building your team around elemental effects.
