The Administrator is the main character in Arknights: Endfield, and you choose their gender (male or female) at the start of the game. As the starting hero, the Administrator is an excellent candidate for early leveling and resource investment, as other promotion and upgrade materials are best reserved for characters with a higher drop rate (such as Laevatein), should you be lucky enough to obtain them.
This guide covers early progression, loadout selection, and two starting team compositions: one for free Operators and one for when you already have powerful 6-star characters unlocked.
The best weapons and essences for the Enderman
The Administrator is a solid starting character in Arknights: Endfield, and his signature weapon, Grand Vision, can be obtained directly from the Armory Exchange.

This is the only signature weapon that can be purchased without the need for random spins, although the magazine itself is rotating and its selection will change over time.
If you want to play as the EndAdmin but don’t want to spend valuable Armory Tickets on his signature, there are other worthy options.
Great Vision Weapon
- 6 stars
- Dexterity
- The power of the arts
The End Administrator’s signature weapon applies the “Defeat: Long-Long Dream” effect, increasing damage dealt by 36% after using Originium Crystals or Congeal, which the End Administrator applies quite often.
Weapon “Impeccable Reputation”
- 6 stars
- Key indicator
- Physical damage
An excellent sword for the Administrator in teams focused on stacking vulnerabilities. It absorbs stacks of vulnerability, dealing bonus damage and sharing half the bonus with the rest of the team.
Weapon “Sharp Rise”
- 6 stars
- Key indicator
- Critical Hit Chance
- Physical damage
Provides a bonus to your primary stat and critical strike chance, and increases damage from combat skills and your super skill by 15%. If the target is staggered, the bonus increases to 50%. Works especially well in a physical team that relies on stagger.
Weapon “Steel Split”
- 5 stars
- Dexterity
- Physical damage
A robust and affordable 5-star weapon that remains quite effective for the End Administrator. It provides a flat bonus to agility and damage, as well as the “Pugnacity: Hymn of Ashes” perk, which increases attack by 5% and an additional 7.5% if you’ve recently inflicted a physical status on an enemy.
Emergency Measure Weapon
- Rarity
- Dexterity
- Physical damage boost
A starting 4-star weapon for the Endmaster. Grants a fixed bonus to Dexterity and a simple 12% attack bonus on hit with a combat skill.
When farming essences, it’s important to match weapon stat types with the required essences through daily Energy Alluvium activities. As you progress through Endfield, you’ll unlock the daily “Energy Alluvium” quest, where you can earn weapon essences. You can check which Energy Alluvium is suitable for your weapon in the Operator’s Guide.
Let’s take the End Administrator’s signature weapon, “Great Vision,” as an example. You need to match its key stats (Dexterity, Attack Boost, and the “Defeat: Long-Aged Dream” perk) with available farming options. In this case, the Energy Alluvium in the Science Park would be a suitable option.
If you want to guarantee the right Essences, you can use Valley Bonds, which allow you to select specific stats for farming. These items are purchased through the Reserve Redistribution Shop.
Best Gear Sets for Enderman
As the Ender progresses in the game, they gain access to a number of excellent gear sets. Generally, it’s worth choosing sets that boost their core stats—Dexterity and Strength—and provide powerful bonuses for completing the set.

The endgame build in Endfield will ultimately require three gold pieces of gear to activate the set bonuses. However, the path to this is quite long, so below are options worth using as you farm the full Swordsman set.
Ethereal Technologies Kit
This set is literally made for the Administrator. It increases agility and strength and provides bonuses for inflicting vulnerability, which the Administrator consistently applies through the combat skill. The set bonus increases physical damage and can stack up to four times.
Eberrei’s Legacy Set
A straightforward mid-game set. Grants a bonus to agility and strength, as well as a flat 24% bonus to skill damage. Each use of a combat skill, combo skill, or super skill grants an additional 5% damage for 15 seconds.
MSGR kit
Grants a +50 bonus to Dexterity, the Endmaster’s key stat, and additionally increases physical damage by 20% while health is above 80%.
Only three pieces are required to activate the set bonus, so the fourth slot can be tailored to the most beneficial stats. However, in the case of the Ethereal Technologies set, all four pieces already synergize perfectly.
The best operatives for the team with the Administrator
In Arknights: Endfield, you can use up to four characters at once, whose abilities interact with each other through combo skills.
Combo skill activation is a key factor in team composition. The controlled operator (the one you’re playing as) is the only one who deals damage to the stagger bar, which appears in white under the enemy’s health bar.
Physical damage dealers are underrepresented in Endfield’s starting roster, so a purely physical team often loses to compositions focused on vulnerabilities and arts damage.

The optimal composition is built around Antal and Ardelia as powerful supports who boost Laevatein’s damage, while End Administrator ensures consistent combo activations.
The End Administrator’s rotation is extremely simple: you apply Originium Crystals to enemies, then detonate them with a powerful Super Skill. Originium is applied when a Combo Skill is activated, and the End Administrator can enter a combo after any other character’s Combo Skill.
In this team, Laevatein is usually the leading figure. Use her to generate combo skills, Antal’s focus to increase the vulnerabilities of the End Administrator, and Ardelia’s support and corrosion to consistently initiate combo chains. The damage output here is more than sufficient.
A more realistic option (if you didn’t get Laevatein) is a team with Administrator, Lifen, Border Guard, and Da Pan. This is a strong physical lineup with good combo synergy.
Lifen opens the fight, as he can independently activate his combo skill through a combat skill and the final hit of his basic ombo. This triggers the Administrator combo, after which the vulnerabilities from Originium Crystals and the destruction activate the Border Guard combo.
Da Pan acts as a support tank and occasionally applies knockup, though his combo skill is less effective due to the vulnerability stacks being consumed frequently by Border Guard and Lifen. He can be replaced with a full-fledged support if desired, such as Ardelia.
Overall, even if the Ender isn’t the central figure of the team, he remains useful in almost any composition thanks to his stable combos, exploit infliction, and burst damage potential thanks to his ultimate.
Administrator Skill Overview and Leveling Priority
The Administrator is a fairly straightforward character in Arknights: Endfield. The basic combo goes like this: the combat skill “Creative Tact” applies disruption and vulnerabilities, then a combo skill with another operator applies Originium Crystals, stunning the enemy.
After this, you can either use the combat skill again to detonate the crystals, or activate the super skill “Bombarding Tact” and deal colossal damage.
Since the Administrator’s Locking Tact combo skill triggers every time another character uses their combo skill, his skill set is extremely versatile and works well with any Operator in the game.
That’s why it’s worth upgrading your Administrator as you progress through the game—they’re almost always useful for filling a gap in your team. When upgrading, prioritize upgrading your Super Skill first, then your Combat Skill, and only then your Combo Skill.
