Equipment and design

The Bloody R73 Pro Cypher Ghost is packaged in a black and purple cardboard box. It features an image of the mouse and lists its key features and specifications. The front of the box opens like a book cover , revealing the mouse housed in a transparent blister.

The kit includes a fabric-sheathed USB-A to USB-C cable, a 2.4 GHz dongle and adapter, a set of spare glides and grips, and a user manual in Russian.

The mouse has an asymmetrical shape, so it’s not suitable for left-handed users. The body is quite long, with a high back, making the device comfortable for all grip types: palm, finger, and claw.
The new model features seven buttons: left and right, two side buttons, a DPI adjustment button under the scroll wheel, and a button built into the scroll wheel. The scroll wheel has a rubberized surface with fine serrations and rotates with little effort.

The base of the case houses slippery PTFE glides, an optical sensor, a mouse power switch, and a compartment with a magnetic lid for storing a 2.4 GHz dongle to prevent it from getting lost during transport.
The model’s body is painted black, while the wheel is purple. The back features an image of the character Cypher Ghost: in the Savage Impact mythology, he is a secret agent, a master of stealth and strategy, entrusted with the crucial mission of maintaining balance in the city’s advanced technological world.

The Bloody R73 Pro’s appearance leaves no room for doubt. The mouse is firmly assembled and doesn’t creak when squeezed. The matte, slightly rough plastic ensures a secure fit. Its weight isn’t the lightest, but it’s not the heaviest either: 74 grams. Some people prefer lighter mice, others prefer heavier models—it’s purely a matter of personal taste.
Connection and setup

The mouse supports two connection modes: wired USB and wireless 2.4 GHz. Bluetooth pairing is not supported.
The wireless connection is supported by WaveLink technology, which provides protection against interference and data channel blocking, transmitting signals up to three times per millisecond, guaranteeing a stable and uninterrupted connection. The port’s polling rate is 1000 Hz, ensuring smooth mouse movements . Although gaming devices are increasingly supporting 4000 Hz and 8000 Hz polling rates, in reality, such high rates are primarily required by eSports athletes, while the average gamer will find 1000 Hz sufficient for comfortable gaming.
You can configure the device using the Bloody Wireless M-Esport Editor software, which is available on the official website . The app has five tabs where you can remap keys, set DPI, polling rate, and lift-off height, configure macros, check for the latest firmware, and adjust system settings.
The software doesn’t really feel essential, as the model is ready to use out of the box, but it can be downloaded if you need to, for example, change the DPI or assign macros.
Impressions of use

The Bloody R73 Pro features a PAW3395 sensor, unlike the Bloody R73 Ultra and Bloody R73 Ultra Duo, which are equipped with an Alpha 20K sensor. The PAW3395 supports DPI adjustments from 50 to 26,000, a tracking speed of 650 ips, and 50 g acceleration. The sensor is unbreakable, provides excellent positioning, and is ideal for any scenario, whether it’s carefully targeting an enemy through the scope of a sniper rifle, randomly firing a submachine gun, controlling hundreds of units in an RTS , or selecting cells in a spreadsheet.
The switches are rated for 30 million clicks—enough to last for several years. The proprietary RapidSnap Rebound technology, based on a patented design, ensures consistent keystroke force and responsive rebound, regardless of where the key is pressed. This ensures instant response and precise control of every click.
The mouse’s battery life is provided by a built-in 300 mAh battery. A full charge lasts for approximately 80 hours—that’s just over a week of intensive work and gaming, assuming you spend 8-10 hours a day on the computer. The mouse charges in an hour and a half, but just 15 minutes of charging can give you up to 20 hours of playtime thanks to the quick-charge feature.
Conclusion

The Bloody R73 Pro is another good gaming mouse from Bloody. It boasts high build quality, excellent battery life, a stable connection, and an attractive design. Its drawbacks include its noticeable weight and rather large dimensions, which may make it unsuitable for those with smaller hands.
Whether you choose this mouse or not is entirely up to you, but in our opinion, it’s a decent solution for home gaming and work tasks.
