The solution to the “Echoing Cliffs” puzzle involves moving from one symbol to another without breaking the chain. This can be confusing for many players. It’s important to understand which stones can and should be stepped on, as one mistake results in failure, resetting the entire puzzle, and having to start over.
If you’re having trouble finding the right path, below are instructions for each step to help you complete the puzzle without making mistakes, as well as images showing the correct route.
Stand on the first raised platform and walk forward four spaces to activate the puzzle. Once the remaining platforms rise, walk back four spaces (the way you came). That is, to the same symbol.
Then proceed as follows:
- Take 1 step to the right.
- 5 steps up.
- 2 steps to the left.
- 5 steps down.
- 1 step to the left.
- 6 steps up.
- 5 steps to the right.
- 2 steps down.
This activates the next, final part of the puzzle. Here, you’ll need to activate almost every square. You can’t click on already-active squares. If you make a mistake, you’ll have to start over from the first part. Stay put and see the solution below.
Proceed as follows:
- From the starting point, go 4 cells to the left.
- 2 steps down.
- 3 steps to the right.
- 1 step down.
- 4 steps to the left.
- 4 steps up.
- 5 steps to the right.
- 1 step up.
- 6 steps to the left.
- 6 steps down.
- 6 steps to the right.
- 3 steps up.
- 3 steps to the left.
After completing the puzzle, the door will open, allowing you to retrieve the Abyssal Artifact. At the same time, the Abyssal Stone will activate.
