How to automate HC Valley battery production in Arknights Endfield

How to automate HC Valley battery production in Arknights Endfield

HC Valley Batteries provide the highest energy output of all Valley IV batteries in Arknights Endfield , and selling them to locals brings in a healthy profit. However, this value is offset by a relatively complex production chain, requiring advanced materials and vast quantities of raw materials. In this guide, we’ll share the design of an HC Valley Battery factory to inspire you to build your own.

Due to the width of the design, we cannot provide one drawing, so we split the codes into two parts (for the Asian server): EFO01E50O51e69o563uIa (1/2) and EFO01521429A0auaaeIoe (2/2).

Similar to our Buck Capsule (A) layout, this HC Valley battery setup will also take up a significant portion of your AIC core’s main area , although this time the orientation will be wider rather than longer. For this build, you’ll need:

  • 19 Bus Unloader Outputs:
    • 12 for originium ore
    • 3 for Sandflower
    • 4 for steel parts
  • 15 shredding units
  • 6 grinding units
  • 2 packaging units
  • 4 thermal accumulators (Thermal Banks)
  • Protocol Storage Stashes for excess materials

You need to closely monitor your production of originium and ferrium ore. HC Valley batteries require a huge amount of these resources, and you could run into a shortage , which would completely halt production. Sandleaf, on the other hand, is very easy to produce.

Luckily, we only need to worry about producing dense originium powder and steel parts , as the rest will be built into the production lines for these materials.

What about the production of steel parts?

If you still have enough space around your base core or in any of your sub-PACs at outposts, simply copy the layout above to fully utilize the three additional output ports provided by the cores. The design is quite compact, and you’ll likely also have plenty of space in the center of your base (unless you’re using it for landing modules). The sequence is as follows:

  • Set 2 output ports to Ferrium Ore and the third port to Sand Flower Powder.
  • Connect the Ferrium Ore Conveyor Line to the Refining Units.
  • Connect cleaning units to grinding units.
  • Connect the crushing units and the sand flower powder belt to the grinding unit.
  • Connect the grinding unit to the new cleaning unit.
  • Connect the new cleaning unit to the mounting unit (Fitting Unit).
  • Return the tape back to one of the database core input ports or to the protocol store.

If you don’t have space around the base core, use the diagram above and attach production to your Depot Bus . This will only produce steel, so if you need steel parts, attach a refinery, assembly plant, and storage facility at the end of the production line.
