After the first trial, in which you need to find out who killed the Sword Master, you need to find a screwdriver, a pillow , and rewind time several times to finally retrieve Moses’ mug from the locked cabinet. This is necessary to complete the second trial of Max Caulfield’s abilities. Although this is essentially a tutorial on the mechanics of rewinding time, skipping any of the steps can cause difficulties. Below is a detailed step-by-step guide.
In short, here’s all you need to do to get the item from the cabinet and pass Moses’ second test:
- Pick up the screwdriver above the locked cabinet.
- Use a screwdriver on the cabinet.
- Rewind time as far back as possible.
- Take the pillow from the chair near Moses’ computer.
- Open the cabinet again to safely remove the mug.
- Rewind time to fix the cabinet door.
- Return to Moses and give him the mug.
This challenge is a bit more difficult than the one involving finding the Sword Master’s killer, so it’s easier to make mistakes, especially if you forget to rewind time in time. First, grab the screwdriver from the table above the cabinet (it’s slightly to the right, next to the toolbox). If you don’t have the screwdriver, rewind time and check again.
