A detailed guide to solving the Sanctuary of Restraint puzzle from the witch Elowen: the location of the sanctuary on the map, the solution principle, finding the Cubic Reactor Core and the Support Fragment.
Location : Hernand, Unicorn Rock.
Approach the shrine from the north, where the Void Core is located. As always, you must first clear out the Antumbra cultists. Eliminate enemies until the bar on the left reaches 0. Once this happens, the shrine will be liberated.
Note : If you move a few meters away from the shrine, previously placed items will return to their original positions. However, if these items have already been in Yellowbeak’s cauldron, and you retrieved and placed them from there, they will be placed back in the cauldron. After liberating yourself, return to the northern entrance, where two big guys were at the end of the path leading to the shrine. Climb the stairs and turn left to see a section of the building with a destroyed wall. Hidden behind the hole in the wall is the reactor core.
It’s easier to place it in Yellowbeak’s cauldron, then carry it upstairs and throw it out. Find the opening on the east side and place a block directly in front of it until leaves appear—then use Palmara Strike (Power Palm).
There’s a small building next to the Sanctuary Reactor, and to the north there’s a leaf-covered passage. Burn them with Light Reflection (L1+R1 > hold L1 / LB+RB > hold LB / CTRL + LMB, release, and hold CTRL again).
After clearing the overgrowth, go inside and take the pillar piece. Take it to the reactor, find the broken pillar in the northeast corner, place the piece above it, and combine it with Palmara Strike (Power Palm). If you’ve unlocked “Palmara Strike: Transfer” in the green branch of the skill tree, simply hold the piece in the correct position until green leaves appear, then click the mouse wheel . Otherwise, you’ll have to climb onto the piece hovering above the pillar (the green leaves should still be there), jump, and use Power Palm in mid-air.
Once both the core and the pillar piece are in place, the shrine will become operational. The witch Elowen will appear, and the quest will be complete. You’ll unlock several new recipes in Grimnir’s Kilnden workshop.
