It won’t take you long to learn in StarRupture that development is primarily based on producing a variety of items and delivering them to selected corporations. These items earn points, which help unlock new resources and become more powerful.
However, not all items can be crafted simply by mining resources. As you’ll notice in the mid- and late-game, some turn-in items require a special blueprint to produce. These blueprints are typically found while exploring the map.
StarRupture is in Early Access and the content of this article is subject to change.
Where to look for drawings

Unfortunately, if you’re missing a blueprint for a specific item, there’s no specific location you can simply go to and pick it up, as their locations are randomized for each player. However, you can narrow your search by knowing where to find them. Blueprints can essentially only be found in Abandoned Bases scattered across the map .
When you approach such a base, a house icon similar to your home will appear on the map. Each base will belong to a specific corporation and have a unique name. Once at the base, you need to find a special blue storage container , usually located in the outermost building.
If the building is locked, always look for another way in , as it is in such buildings that the required box is most often located.
Every time you open a blue container in the Abandoned Base, you will receive one or more blueprints for items.
You can also get a copy of an existing blueprint if you used it at a recipe station. To avoid this, it’s generally recommended to only use these blueprints when needed and try to collect them all first.
In our experience, blueprints for early-game items unlock in bases located close to the Orbital Lander, while late-game items can be found in more distant bases. The Forgotten Engine is one of the best places to find the latest blueprints .

All blueprint unlock recipes

Once you’ve obtained a blueprint for a specific item, you can unlock it for production at a recipe station , provided you have the building for its production unlocked. Once you’ve unlocked one of these items by investing the necessary ingredients, you can begin crafting it using the same components.
Here’s everything you need to unlock production of each item from a blueprint:
| Name | The required car | Required items |
|---|---|---|
| Rotor | Fabricator | 400 titanium rods, 300 tungsten wires, 400 data points |
| Pipe | 600 titanium sheets, 300 titanium rods, 400 data points | |
| Stabilizer | 100 rotors, 300 titanium rods, 600 data points | |
| Stator | 300 titanium bodies, 300 tungsten wires, 600 data points | |
| Synthetic silicon | Bake | 600 ceramics, 800 calcium powder, 2000 helium-3, 600 data points |
| Electronics | 600 synthetic silicon, 200 inductors, 200 stators, 800 data points | |
| Chemicals | 600 synthetic silicon, 1000 tungsten powder, 2000 helium-3, 800 data points | |
| Hardener | 300 applicators, 800 synthetic silicon, 1500 sulfuric acid, 1000 data points | |

In addition to all the items listed above, you will also need to find a blueprint for each of them to start producing them.
