During raids across various locations in ARC Raiders, players discover special loot rooms that are usually locked with a key. However, on the “Dam Battlegrounds” map, there’s one room that requires not a key but a “Power Core”—an epic-quality component—to open.
Location of the room opened by the power rod
This room is located inside the Power Generation Complex on the Dam Battlegrounds map. It’s a popular location, so be prepared for some skirmishes with other players.
While it’s possible to open the room in a regular raid, it’s best to use Power Cores during Night Raids . The loot inside will be more valuable, making the use of this rare component more worthwhile.
To access the room, enter the main building of the Power Generation Complex and proceed to the corridor immediately beyond the Generator Room. Be prepared to be attacked by enemies such as Pops, Fireballs, or Pincers.
There might be a turret waiting for you in the main hall that you need to destroy. After that, approach the closed door opposite the yellow server cabinets —that’s the room you’re looking for.
Inside, you’ll find several grenades on tables and chairs, as well as red lockers. These contain epic and rare weapons, crafting components, and trinkets . Valuable items should be placed in the “Safe Pocket” immediately in case of an ambush at the exit.
How to get power rods
There are two main ways. The first is to search server cabinets, electrical panels, and generator panels in areas with electrical equipment. The chance of finding a rod increases during Night Raids or under the Electromagnetic Storm condition.
The second, more reliable method is to craft a Power Rod using a Level 3 Advanced Purifier . One Power Rod requires 2x Advanced Electronic Components and 2x ARC Circuits .
