Cult of the Lamb players who downloaded the new Woolhaven expansion may encounter the new content not appearing immediately upon launching the game. Several requirements must be met to access the DLC.
Victory over the Bishops and the Altar of Offerings
The first requirement is defeating all four bishops for He Who Waits. After defeating the last one, an altar will automatically appear to the right of the stairs in the cult, asking for offerings in a specific order:
-
5 Menticide Mushrooms from Anura
-
5 Crystal Shards from Anchordeep
-
5 Spider Silks from Silk Cradle
-
1 Sin from followers
After the first mushroom offering, snow will begin to fall at the cult, and the player will receive four DLC decorative items: Yngya Idol, Woolhaven Lampost, Summer Candle, and Bucket of First Blooms.

The second offering of crystals will summon Gopheron, the architect of the gods. He will offer to expand his holdings in exchange for gold bars—he can be found in the southern part of the cult.

The third offering of spider silk will unlock a new doctrine—the Follower Marriage Ceremony. This ritual allows for the marriage of not only the cult leader but also ordinary followers.
It’s located in a separate section called Woolhaven in the ritual list, costs 50 dice, and requires a minimum of two cultists. When choosing a partner, the game displays the relationship status of the followers—they can be strangers or friends. Performing a wedding rewards the cult with 20 Faith.

After the fourth Sin Offering, the Woolhaven DLC is fully activated. Please note that if you continue playing from this point on, your save file will only be accessible with the Woolhaven DLC installed.
