Crimson Desert Guide: How to Beat the Azure Moon Labyrinth

Finding the Azure Moon Labyrinth in Crimson Desert is only the first part of solving the puzzle associated with it. You’ll need to help the local “children of the forest” (shai) and find special symbols scattered throughout Pororin Village. In this guide, we’ll explain exactly where to go to find and solve the puzzle in the Azure Moon Labyrinth Ruins. Let’s just say that compared to other puzzles, this one is quite challenging.

To find the solution to the Azure Moon Labyrinth puzzle in Crimson Desert, you need to complete the “Inaccessible Village” faction quest . In this guide, we’ve also provided a quick solution to the puzzle so you don’t have to retrace the same lengthy route we took. Below, we’ll also describe where to find all the clues in the game world and how to get to Pororin.

Where is the Azure Moon Labyrinth?

The Azuremoon Labyrinth Ruins are located approximately 1050 meters southwest of the town of Hernand, in the northern part of the Witchwoods region on the world map. If you follow the southwest road from Hernand across three rivers, you’ll enter the Witchwoods subregion. You’re looking for a place called “Fonel Ranch,” where a bandit gang operates. Clear the area to explore freely.

At the end of the ranch, there’s a small building with a staircase leading down. Not to a cellar, but to the very same Azure Moon Labyrinth. There’s only one way down, and it’s full of traps—flamethrowers and spiked pits. The puzzle is at the very bottom, behind a grate with a lever.

Access to the room is gained by pulling a lever that lowers a barrier next to the closed doors. You’ll know this is the right place when you see square slabs with different symbols on the left and right walls. There are eight slabs in total.

Quick solution

If you don’t want to search for clues in the game world, use a palm strike to activate the desired square tiles. The order doesn’t matter—you need to activate the five correct symbols and leave any unrelated ones untouched.

Correct symbols:

  • symbol P,
  • symbol P with one additional line,
  • symbol P with three additional lines,
  • symbol F,
  • F symbol with one extra line.

If done correctly, access to the Abyssal Stone will be revealed. You’ll discover a secret door at the back of the labyrinth, allowing you to retrieve the Abyssal Artifact. You’ll also be given knowledge that can be activated through your inventory. The locations of eight nearby caves hidden behind waterfalls will be revealed.

Detailed solution with search for clues

As with the Dragon Stone Room Ruins , the solution to the puzzle must be found in the open world . Near the room, there’s a wall with a map indicating the locations of the clues.

The map points northeast toward the village of Pororin, home to the “green children” (shai) you met earlier. To get there, you need to complete the quest “The Inaccessible Village.”

The map in the maze is quite clear—it matches the corner of your world map. By comparing them, you can figure out the direction and location of all the clues.

Once you’re free to roam Pororin Village, you’ll need to find five trees with symbols carved into them. These trees are located around the village or within its boundaries.

Once you’ve discovered all these symbols, return to the Azure Moon Labyrinth and strike the push buttons with the corresponding images with your palmar. The order isn’t important; the key is to press only the symbols you saw on the trees.

You will receive not only the Abyssal artifact, but also knowledge that will allow you to display 8 hidden caves behind waterfalls on the world map.
