The world of Crimson Desert is vast, and as you explore, you’ll discover many secondary activities and secrets. The Hunter’s Hut is an area on Haunted Hill that contains a cemetery with a locked crypt.
This area is marked on the map as “Mysterious Energy,” but the game doesn’t provide any clear clues as to how to solve the associated puzzle . In this guide, we’ll explain in detail how to easily solve the puzzle in the graveyard near the hunter’s hut and unlock the fast travel point.
Puzzle location
To find a large cemetery, head northwest of the town of Hernand, to the Hunter’s Hut area of the Haunted Hills subregion. The cemetery contains a small crypt perched on a hill, with steps leading up to it. However, the entrance is blocked by a brick wall. This would appear to be a normal location if not for the “Mysterious Energy” marker on the map and minimap, indicating the presence of a puzzle or secret.
Memory at the Cemetery
As you approach the graves, Cliff’s lantern will begin to pulse. After examining the surroundings and picking up the lantern (activate the lantern via the F2 menu and equip it while holding CTRL), you’ll discover a memory. You can view it with the Visione helmet to gain a little more information about one of the local graves. However, this doesn’t affect the solution to the puzzle—it’s simply an additional detail that provides a bit of context about the events unfolding in the world.

How to solve the puzzle in the cemetery near the hunter’s hut
To solve the riddle, you need to light the stone lanterns located throughout the cemetery. Some of them are already lit, but others will need to be activated manually: simply approach them and interact with them by holding down the E key.
In my playthrough, for example, I needed to light one lantern near the stone stairs and another one east of the crypt. However, the location of inactive lanterns may vary, so it’s best to carefully examine the entire cemetery.
Once all the lanterns are lit, the puzzle is solved, revealing the entrance to the crypt. Inside, you’ll find an Abyssal Stone, which will act as a fast travel point, as well as an Abyssal Artifact—it can be used to unlock or upgrade Cliff, Damiana, or Unca’s skills in Crimson Desert.
