Crimson Desert Guide: How to Complete Drakesfall Gorge Ruins

While exploring the Drakesfall Gorge region (Drakesfall Gorge on the map) in the Crimson Desert, you may come across a cluster of stone statues standing in two rows.

Besides these two rows of statues, similar to the Terracotta Army and depicting Hernand’s soldiers, there is also a larger monument that turns its head when you step on a pressure plate at the opposite end of the area.

In fact, this puzzle , which turns another Abyssal Stone into a fast travel point, is connected to the popular TV series and game. In this guide, we’ll tell you what to do with the “Mysterious Energy” in Drakesfall Rift.

Drakesfall Gorge Statue Puzzle Location

Drakesfall Gorge is located on the northeastern edge of Hernand, just beyond the Hills of No Return (labeled “Hills of No Return” on the map). In this area, you’ll see two rows of statues of Hernand soldiers and a larger statue resembling a king.

Solving the statue puzzle in Drakesfall Gorge

To begin solving the puzzle, you need to step on the stone pressure plate at the beginning of the row of statues. Stepping on the plate activates the king statue at the end of the peculiar corridor, which will periodically turn its head in your direction.

The statue puzzle in Drakesfall Gorge works like a game of “Red Light, Green Light.” When the king’s statue faces you, along with Hernand’s soldiers, its eyes will glow blue. You must stop immediately. As soon as the king turns his back, you can move toward him.

It’s recommended to walk rather than run, as Cliff doesn’t stop completely immediately after sprinting. It’s even better to stop early rather than wait for the statue to start turning. When you reach the end of the row, approaching the Abyssal Stone column, the puzzle will complete. You can then remove the Abyssal Artifact from the Stone and automatically activate the fast travel point to Drakesfall Gorge.
