The Galsia Confluence is a puzzle in Crimson Desert that challenges players to correctly position a metal frame on a massive sundial so that it matches a highlighted object on one of the statues. Solving it requires not only understanding the mechanics but also acquiring certain abilities that unlock as you progress through the main story.
Location of the ruins of the Confluence Zone at the Galcia Sanatorium
The puzzle is located southeast of St. Galsius’ Sanctuary in Crimson Desert. It can be reached on horseback or by using the Abyssal Focus located further south.
How to solve the puzzle
To solve this riddle, you need to orient yourself to where the golden beam from the spear of the central statue points, and align the metal plate on the huge sundial with the symbols on the ground.
You definitely need the “Stab” and “Lift” skills – both are unlocked as you progress through the main storyline.
Once you arrive, notice the central statue. Walk around it and use the “Lift” skill to remove all the fallen columns from the sundial. Throw them aside. There are only two columns. Otherwise, they will simply prevent you from solving the puzzle.
Stage 1
Use the “Stab” ability to thrust the sword into the black pedestal on the sundial. It’s connected to a metal frame, which you can now move. Move clockwise until the top frame, or more precisely, one of its holes, aligns with the tile depicting gold coins. If you position the frame on the correct symbol, the tile will glow as soon as you pull the sword from the pedestal. If this doesn’t happen, you’re in the wrong direction.
Stage 2
Look where the golden rays fall. This time, there will be three symbols. Use the “Stab” ability to thrust the sword into the black pedestal on the sundial. It’s connected to a metal frame, which you can now move. Move clockwise or counterclockwise until the top hole in the frame lands on the scale symbol.
Stage 3
Examine the beams of light falling on five different objects again. Use the “Stab” ability to thrust the sword into the black pedestal on the sundial. It’s connected to a metal frame, which you can now move. Move it clockwise or counterclockwise until the top hole in the frame lands on the horse symbol . Make sure the other holes also contain objects that are affected by the beams.
You can use stamina and spam the Shift key to spin the sundial faster, but once your stamina is depleted, your character will return to normal speed.
After completing the puzzle, the Abyssal Stone in the River Confluence Zone near Galsia Hospital will open, serving as a fast travel point, and you’ll receive an Abyssal Artifact. This artifact is used to unlock new skills, improve primary stats, or enhance gear.
