Thorium ore is one of the many resources you can gather while exploring the world of Hytale, but it can be tricky to find if you don’t know where to look.
Where to find thorium ore
Thorium ore can be found in the Badlands biome . To collect it, you’ll need a pickaxe . Look for green, gem-like deposits. Once you find one, equip your pickaxe and break the block to collect the ore.

If you want to mine ore without enemy threat, you can temporarily switch to Creative mode using commands (if you’re in Exploration mode). However, to harvest the resource, you must return to Exploration mode—otherwise, you’ll simply destroy the block.
“Badlands” is a desert biome. One specific location where we consistently found large thorium deposits has the following coordinates: X: -1337, Z: 1783 .

Thorium deposits are typically found on cliff faces in the Badlands, so you can look elsewhere in the biome, but the area listed above has proven to be the richest.
