Where to find copper ore in Hytale
Copper ore deposits can be found at depths of 10 to 20 blocks in Hytale’s dungeons. In-game, they appear as rusty-brown pillars emerging from the bedrock, with whitish patches at their peaks.
Copper is the lowest-tier ore, so it can be mined with a Crude Pickaxe . It can be crafted in the inventory crafting menu (TAB) using Cobblestone (2), Plant Fiber (2), and Stick (2).
Although copper is found fairly close to the surface and can be easily mined down 10-20 blocks, creating a mine right next to your house, it’s more efficient to explore natural caves in the overworld early on. A rough pickaxe breaks down cobblestone and other blocks that make up the ground very slowly, making this method of mining ineffective.

The Workbench is the very first station in the game. To create it, you need Any Tree Trunk (2) and Any Stone (2).
How to make a furnace in Hytale
To craft a furnace you need the following materials:

- Any stone x6
Once crafted, place the furnace in the world by selecting it from the hotbar and right-clicking.
How to craft copper ingots in Hytale
- Once the furnace is ready, place the fuel (wood, coal, or plant fiber) in the appropriate slot and the copper ore in the raw material slot.
- Click the “Turn On” button to start the melting process.
- Each time the progress bar under the ore fills, one copper ingot will appear in the output slot .
