A detailed guide to completing the “Kultur-Multur, Jack” side quest, given by Tammy Stopka before the start of the “Opera Sleuth” main mission. We’ll explain how to start the quest and find the perfect location for filming at the opera.
The black-and-white game Mouse: PI For Hire is a fast-paced and fun shooter in the spirit of DOOM, mixed with animations from the “rubber hose” era. Surprisingly, this game has much more to do than you might expect, from baseball card minigames to finding a multitude of collectibles hidden throughout the game’s various levels.
You can also check out our main guide , which includes general information on side quests, a list of them, and links to each individual article with a detailed walkthrough.
Another example of additional content is side quests, which are small optional missions that can be completed alongside specific story quests. Without a detailed guide, you’ll likely miss most quests. And even if you manage to start them, you might have trouble finding the right objective. The “Kultur-Multur, Jack” quest is no exception. We’ll tell you how to complete this quest before you complete the “Bloodhound at the Opera” story mission and completely lose the chance to earn the “Bloodhound Without Fear or Reproach” achievement in Mouse: PI For Hire.
It’s important to make separate manual saves each time you visit the detective’s office , before starting story missions, so you can return and complete a missed side quest if necessary. However, the achievement is unlocked near the end of the game, meaning you must complete the remaining story and side missions immediately afterward.
How to start the “Kultur-Multur, Jack” quest
Immediately after pinning the collected evidence to the bulletin board in private detective Jack Pepper’s office, the “Bloodhound at the Opera” main quest will automatically begin in the Mouse: PI For Hire in-game hub. Now, to avoid missing the side mission, you need to complete one more step before getting into the car.
On the corner of the alley, next to the ammunition store, is Tammy Stopka, the gunsmith. Stop and talk to her. She’ll ask you to take a perfect photo of all the celebrities at the opera, as she adores the stars but isn’t of the social class that would ever allow her to get close to them. This will begin the side quest “Kultur-Multur, Jack.”
How to complete the challenge and find the perfect photo for Tammy at the opera
To complete the “Kultur-Multur, Jack” side quest, continue progressing through the main storyline of “Bloodhound at the Opera,” taking the opportunity to search for collectibles. Head to the Mouseburg Opera House and begin the mission.
Eventually, you’ll face a boss fight —a Prima Donna with a spear—that will end with the entire opera house engulfed in flames. Now you need to escape. Continue through the opera house until you eventually reach the top, where you’ll need to cross the platform between the VIP boxes to get out.
Once you return to the opera house boxes, right after Jack reaches the top, if you’ve taken the “Kultur-Multur, Jack” side quest, a quest marker will appear above the seats where the celebrities used to be. Interact with it.

You’ll be able to take a photo of the “crowd,” even though the opera hall is actually empty. Take the photo, and the main part of this side quest will be complete. It’s a bit confusing, as Tammy asked to photograph celebrities, but Jack actually takes a literal fire photo.
Continue the story mission until it is completed, then return to the central part of Mouseburg, to the detective’s office.
Reward
Upon returning, go to Tammy Stopka and tell her the bad news. You weren’t able to obtain the celebrity photos, but she’ll still reward Jack for his efforts and information.
Tammy will reward you with 100 coins. It’s not much, but money is money. Use the money you’ve saved up to visit the store. Besides ammunition (though it’s not wise to spend money on that), you can buy missed collectibles and eight unique baseball cards for 500 and 1,000 coins each.
