A detailed guide to solving the Sanctuary of Forgiveness puzzle from the witch Elowen: the sanctuary’s location on the map, the solution principle, and finding the Cubic Reactor Core and the support fragment.
Location : Hernand, south of the city.
The Sanctuary of Forgiveness is located in the Ernand region, south of the city, on the Mountain of Frozen Souls. A screenshot is included below.
Note : If you move a few meters away from the shrine, previously placed items will return to their original positions. However, if these items have already been in Yellowbeak’s cauldron, and you retrieved and placed them from there, they will be placed back in the cauldron. Approach the shrine from the east, where the Abyssal Core is located. The area is swarming with Order of Antumbra cultists. Climb the steps of the shrine, continuing to kill enemies. Upon reaching the top platform, you’ll encounter the Sword of Antumbra . This is a challenging enemy. Dodge its magical attacks and counter with normal attacks. Remember to counter whenever an opportunity arises. After defeating the Sword of Antumbra, finish off the remaining enemies around the shrine until the shrine is completely clear.
After liberating the shrine, enter the building across from the boss arena . At the very end, the floor will collapse. Jump down, exit outside, and you’ll see a reactor that needs repairing.
Return to the building north of the reactor and look to the left (be careful of the fire erupting towards you inside). There’s a piece of a column floating in the doorway. Take it outside. If you’re not comfortable, you can seal it in Yellowbeak’s cauldron. Place it on the broken column and use Palmara Strike (Power Palm). If you’ve unlocked Palmara Strike: Transfer in the green branch of the skill tree, simply hold the piece in the correct position until green leaves appear, then click the mouse wheel . Otherwise, you’ll have to climb onto the piece hovering above the column (the green leaves should still be there), jump, and use Power Palm in mid-air.
Return to the building and jump up through the hole in the ceiling into the corridor that leads to the arena where you fought the Sword of Antumbra. In the middle of the corridor, there’s a pit littered with jugs. Break them all until you find the reactor core. Transfer it to Yellowbeak’s cauldron or manually move it to the reactor. Place it in the square hole under the reactor. Simply approach it and click the mouse wheel, or use “Palmara Strike: Transfer” if you’ve unlocked the skill in the green skill tree. In this case, you don’t need to detach the Axiom Powers: hold the core and click the mouse wheel when green leaves appear.
Once both the core and the pillar piece are in place, the shrine will become operational. The witch Elowen will appear, and the quest will be complete. You’ll unlock several new recipes in Grimnir’s Kilnden workshop.
